America is ranked 3rd in gun violence out of 193 countries.
So clearly, America is incredibly unsafe and dangerous…right?
However this is where it gets interesting. If you were to remove Detroit, LA, Philadelphia, St. Louis, and Chicago; America would fall to 189 out 193.
Ironically these five cities are liberal run with some of the most strictest gun laws.
Perfect example of how politicians can ruin a city.

Some say these are old world Tartarian cities.
Good point
Mind-blowing if true. 🤯
Interesting. Do you know of any place where you can compare gun violence by states and other countries?
Source?
St louis is a shithole. Its mostly caused by the city/county divide tbh tho.
- born and raised St louisan
Instantly I was like "where the fuck is #1 and 2?!"
This is interesting, but:
0. Source?
1. Cities don't have border checks, so gun laws are pretty ineffective.
2. Am I also allowed to cherry pick in the other 193 countries? I have a hunch that if I would the US would shoot way back up on the list.
3. Cities tend to be liberal run, so there is some skew here.

Like the sauce
A sauce city?
Lol. Russia and Israel are right wing nations….
Exactly
Evidence? How do we know you didn't make all of those numbers up?
Funny if you remove all cities from the list globally, gun violence disappears!
Almost like the people who plan shootings always pick locations with strict gun laws.
Yeah, now do whites vs. blacks!

Every single day in USA police kill unarmed people during "random" traffic stops.
Like half the gun deaths in USA are at the hands of police.
Also USA has school shootings weekly.
It's a culture problem not a gun problem.
USA is the only country where school shootings are considered normal
Tartarian?
You mean Russian?
Because tartaria was just a name for the old Russian Empire.
How about these 5 + cities? 🤔
This is actually what I find interesting…
The cities with the highest rates of gun violence often shift, but based on recent data, some of the top contenders include Memphis, Tennessee, St. Louis, Missouri, and Baltimore, Maryland. Other cities experiencing high rates of gun violence include Washington, D.C. and Birmingham, Alabama.

“Like half” is incredibly wrong…

But this works for every country. It is called Pareto's law: 80% of consequences come from 20% of causes.
Please show your math, I’m calling bullshit. There are several dozen other extremely violent large cities in the US.
I added up: New Orleans, Baltimore, St Louis, Oklahoma City, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Newark, Cincinnati, Louisville, Memphis, Birmingham, Cleveland, Phoenix and that totaled 2,271 murders in 2024.
There are so many more violent murder-ridden cities in the USA I haven’t accounted for.
To put the 2,271 murder figure in perspective, these countries had less murder’s in 2023/2023: Australia (448), Canada (788), Japan (912), Germany (661), Argentina (≈2000), Italy (334). This list could go on and on and on. And I only totaled up homicides from 14 cities.
Publish a correction that you’re making shit up.
