Today I am in Oslo for the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to María Corina Machado, a historic recognition for our struggle and for the Venezuelan people. Here, I am reminded of something I have repeated for years, and which fully aligns with María Corina’s message: there is no peace without freedom. That truth resonates more powerfully than ever at this crucial moment for our country. From Oslo, I raise my hopes that Venezuelans will soon be able to return home, reunite with their families, and rebuild the free and democratic nation we deserve. 🎥: andreinaperiodista #NobelForVenezuela

Siempre consecuente con nuestra causa hermano.
Listened to your story on a pod the other day. Cudos to you for fighting for your people. It take a big heart and balls to do what you do. Much respect and good luck! Never ever give up. Without freedom we got nothing.
Éste #Nobel también es tuyo hermano... Nos vemos en democracia! 🇻🇪💪🏻✍🏻 #NobelForVemezuela ##FreedomVenezuela
María Corina Machado is a globalist who called for the US to invade Venezuela. Imagine that. Nobel peace prize winner calling for war. image

Its shocking how many bitcoiners of all people are falling for the most obvious coup in history. Im sure in large part to people like @gladstein that parrot state propaganda. Hey Alex, does the HRF receive any money from the US government by any chance? 🤔
I did and have. This is also a common, lazy propaganda tactic that the media has used for ages. You cant argue the substance of anything, so you call me a "maduro apologist" 😂 Im surprised youre not instead advocating for a group of "moderate rebels" to take your opposition out for you. How many venezuelans have to die for the embassy to be moved to Jerusalem, Alex? How many foreign governments need to be overthrown in the name of democracy, Alex? You need to be called out for the fraud you are
What do you think of Maduro and what do you want to happen in Venezuela? You continue to refuse to answer this which only can mean you want the tyranny and communism and suffering to continue
We have already had this conversation before and you know that, but you lie because you have sold your vacant soul. CIA backed coups are never for the people, you disingenuous retard. Youre so bad at this propaganda thing, whomever pays you should get a refund 😂
Psilocyberbull's avatar Psilocyberbull
The US (including "NGOs") to stay the fuck out of other countries' politics and stop overthrowing governments for the benefit of mostly a few corporate interests while the taxpayer foots the bill. Just seems like such common sense to me
View quoted note →
Im glad you asked! The book details (heavily sourced) many of the CIA- backed coups in Latin America the past decades. Pundits like @gladstein at the HRF seem to serve a similar purpose as a weapon under the guise of "foreign aid" just as USAID and the NED have historically been. And if you read the book, youll notice Gladstein uses alllll the same language and propaganda methods that have always been used to justify covert regime change. And its not even so covert anymore. At all. Maybe he really IS naive and dumb enough to believe what he says. But I dont believe it
Psilocyberbull's avatar Psilocyberbull
Idk, ~$30m in grants last year is almost double from the year before, which seems suspiciously high. Ill definitely look at that more later lol And I wont even justify that other retarded part with a response 😂

This is all you have 😂 Yes, it is fascist to not want my country to do an overt regime change and install their handpicked leader that will let us rape their country Maybe look up the definitions of the words you use
Heres what propagandist whores such as yourself always twist: Being against my governments foreign policies of regime change in latin america is NOT me supporting that leader. We are capable of big boy thoughts here, those types of attacks (hopefully) dont work here. Its lazy, its old Move to venezuela and go fight Maduro without your shady sources of tens of millions of dollars in funding, faggot
me and him don't align on very "democracy is good" theme, but he's right that without a vision for the future, what should be done, you're just pointlessly offensive. and maduro is an ultimate pice of shit. you could have acknowledge that or there's a reasonable assumption that you don't think he is. if you do, you could align on that with him on that and end this line of questions. if you don't, well I have nothing else to say
See, thats how you let them twist the conversation. I am in no position to critique a foreign government because its not my government. Very simple! He can be a bad leader, that doesnt mean the global empire needs to install a puppet leader and move the embassy to jerusalem and steal their oil 😂 Im rude because I personally think that the organization he is an executive officer of is being paid to support this regime change. And I find using bitcoin and freedom as a premise is as retarded as it gets

Dude lmao I dont decide who has a right to rule venezuela, moron Lots of dictators in latin america. Do you know what usually happens when the US installs a replacement? Anybody who reads all this and still sides with you is wildly uneducated and should just be quiet instead of being useful idiots
I denounce Maduro. Hes the next hitler, whatever you need me to say for your sole retarded argument to fall flat on its face. So lazy
Tried zapping, my wallet sucks lol The US LOVES dictators. Alex even wrote a book about that has a lot to do with that lmao
Are you a bot? I dont understand how this concept is even difficult for people to understand holy shit. I shouldnt have an "evil" to choose in venezuela US shouldnt be involved in venezuelan politics These are not my elections, or my governments to manipulate. How is this so hard to understand? Is this too complicated? Does it require actually reading books and understanding history to comprehend? Am i on another planet?
Am the only human here? I find it hard to believe so many people this stupid already found out about nostr. Did your grandson make your account for you?

It was a tongue in cheek remark to Alex acting like that was a mic drop each time he said it.
is us interference in venezuela (or any place) bad? yes is federal interference in USA states bad? yes is our state interference to my life bad? yes is maduro piece of shit? still yes. again what's your point. states are bad. always has been. as politicians and the whole shit. because some state with bigger stick decided to remove a piece of shit doesn't make them good. but it doesn't change the fact that they deal with a shit
I dont think you know what the conversation is about. Alex is supporting regime change. Thats what Im denouncing. Thats all I have the obligation to denounce. By defending alex, youre defending regime change while also saying regime change Which is also what he does The difference is I think hes paid to it, I think youre just dumb 😂

Economic hitman vibes for me. It’s all so tiresome.
What is “regime change” I am ENTIRELY for the Venezuelan people people replacing their brutal socialist corrupt dictator with a better government I am AGAINST my country being involved with military action
Ahh so youre more for the covert "hearts and minds" method that NGOs tend to employ. Looks more natural, then you at least have the plausible deniability of hiding behind "democracy." I get it
Youre for interfering with Venezuelan politics and installing the leader the US/Israel wants installed Thats what us geopolitics nerds call "regime change"
For the next lesson, maybe we'll visit the history of these coups and how it always ends. Every single time. Little boy, dont talk about these topics if you dont know what youre talking about Jk you do and youre obviously paid to be the disingenuous
Bro Im not one of these retarded bitcoiners that gush over anytime some propagandist says the word bitcoin

you're missing the point @npub1madj...5vdm is just repeating the scott horton talking points which are based on collectivism: "it's their government, so I can't say anything" it's so fucked up that "libertarians" get to have these broken points "there's a burglar stealing from my neighbor, but I can't interfere because it's their burglar, not mine"
You can say that ONLY if you are Venezuelan citizen. You need to better understand the meaning of word - Sovereignty. It should be their choice. Not yours as an American citizen. How would sound to you if a Venezuelan guy says that a US president must be changed because he thinks that?

why is it bad to change a regime from a bad regime to a less bad regime? why is your dogma to be against "regime change" itself and not against the worst regimes?
See, youre going under the false premise that our intentions are benign. Thats very naive and suggests you have zero understanding of the history and how this works. Scott Horton does, which is why he is excellent on foreign policy while you parrot weak propaganda because you ironically dont want to be a collectivist? 😂😂
Tell me, do you consider Iran to be a bastion of freedom and democracy today? Do you understand why that question is even relevant?
Also Id rather repeat "scott horton talking points" than the same state department talking points used for the past like 5 decades lmao so damn stupid
Because I actually understand the history of regime change and US foreign policy The "less bad" regimes are never less bad, theyre basically always significantly worse for the people. You sound incredibly childish
the axiom's avatar
the axiom 1 month ago
why do you use freedom and democracy in the same phrase as if both were great ideals? yes, I understand it is relevant because scott horton talks a lot about iran and he and you think you can just copy that template and apply it to venezuela
the axiom's avatar
the axiom 1 month ago
I'm not sure you or scott horton are familiar with the history of latin america, as far as I understand he just applies the middle-east template to it as if it was the same
🤦‍♂️ Thats not why its relevant, moron. You think Iran is the only country the US has overthrown? Read a fuckin book before talking with confidence about things you dont understand You think Scott Horton is the only person that knows the history of US regime changes? Would you like references to other sources that dont trigger you so much?

what state department? you think everything in the world is created by the US government? americans are so naive fgs I don't even like the HRF
Name me the time we overthrew the government, replaced their leader, and everything worked out better for the population of that country And even if it did, thats a whole different conversation for you to be wrong about
Lmaooo try reading The Devils Chessboard. Learn specific facts instead of getting triggered when you hear certain names and turning your brain off The US can be involved in things they admit to being involved in without being involved in everything. You really need to learn to use your brain, its more important than ever
Sure, read the book I just mentioned. Im not giving you a fucking course on the dozens of CIA-backed color revolutions and their results. I gave you the tools to figure it out yourself. Ill tutor you for sats though
Lmaoooo interesting choices. I dont know if Im willing to tear this down, but Germany doesnt quite count. That was reacting to a hostile power, not exactly the regime change we're talking about here Feel free to read that book I mentioned for how that worked in Chile, very interesting choice there. Not familiar with japan, but if youre referring to ww2 then I honestly just dont think youre ready for this conversation

The Nobel Peace Prize is a JOKE , not just this time. It's the inverse of the term Peace and we all know who runs this laughable, appalling show that no one really cares about. Any improvement to a society should come from within. You should look very far to find the opposite anywhere.
And do you think the solution to United Fruit is a corrupt socialist dictator who hyperinflates the currency and murders his opponents? Because it sure sounds like you do!
I think the Venezuelan people can figure out venezuela, and if anything all of this is only gonna make the people rally behind Maduro more. But we all know the empire will get its way, the opposition gets installed, the country will be pillaged and probably plunge into chaos, and then we'll use that chaos as justification to take whats left, and nobody learned anything while the people that are affected the most are the Venezuelan people you pretend to care about so much
They literally did figure out Venezuela They voted for MCM’s movement The regime stole the election And you’d prefer the continue suffering under that regime. Pathetic
You can cry about elections all you want, but I actually understand the history of how elections in latin america are manipulated and used as a pretext for regime change in countries that USAID and NED say the same things you do
Hopefully, but it wont be anytime soon at this rate. Thanks to people like you Hope the blood on your hands was worth the island retreat, whore
And your position is that anything bad that happens in the world is the US' fault and all its citizens for not stopping it? Dude, youre the socialist lol
LMAO 😂😂 "Listen, every other time it was based on lies and ended terribly and made things worse... but this time. This time its really for real" 😂😂 Theyre not sending their best

the axiom's avatar
the axiom 1 month ago
if it's a flawed system why do you defend it for venezuela? why do you talk in terms of populations instead of individuals?
You have zero idea what youre talking about Alex is the one using democracy as a pretext for regime change I am saying, so explicitly that its sad I need to explain it further, that I dont want to be forced to pay to overthrow another leader in latin america, because I know history and how it ends every time. Anything youre still not understanding?
the axiom's avatar
the axiom 1 month ago
why are you more against that than all the other things you're also being forced to pay for? I can list thousands of things thr US government does that are worse than threatening the government of Venezuela
I did it yesterday in direct response to you, yet here you are still acting like this propaganda tactic works 😂
Are you paid to be this obtuse? I hate it all. This is the specific thing that this specific propagandist is trying to spread, so Im talking about it. Whats so hard to understand about that? It sounds like all you want to do is be contrarian, but if you dont have the intellect to back up anything you say then youre just wasting everybodys time Grow up

Trying to twist your wording from the previous note? You can criticize anyone all day long. Its called free speech. You can't chose their fate. You can't choose for them. Capisce?
I am talking about this note of yours, if you wonder.

The last election was blatantly rigged by the regime If you believed in them having “sovereignty” you would support them in their struggle But I don’t think this is what you believe
They need to vote and choose. Or protest. Its their fate. If you impose your will on them you become the dictator.
I love freedom too and I prefer democracy. But dictatorship is not automatically a tyranny. It depends on the person at the top and dictatorship can be much more efficient system than democracy.
I had another example in mind. Some call Bukele autocrat and dictator but I think he is more the "Philosopher King". "According to political scientists, El Salvador has experienced democratic backsliding under Bukele as he has dismantled democratic institutions, curtailed political and civil liberties, and attacked independent media and the political opposition.[137][138] Journalists, politicians, and political analysts have described Bukele as an autocrat,[111][93][139] an authoritarian,[140][141][142][143] a strongman,[144][76][88][93] a caudillo,[140][145][146] and a "millennial dictator".[78][147][148] He has ironically referred to himself in his Twitter profile as the "Dictator of El Salvador",[149] "the coolest dictator in the world"[150][151] (although news outlets often render this as the "world's coolest dictator"),[81][99][152] the "Emperor of El Salvador",[153] the "CEO of El Salvador",[154] and the "Philosopher King".[81][155] "
I don't like when ordinary people suffer. I couldn't care less about criminals. But its not white and black, there are many shades of grey. If for example Venezuelan people get the Soros type of democracy they will be even worse. Because the Soros democracy is worse than fascism. Weaponizing political parties, lawmakers, judiciary systems, media and completely destroying freedom.
The question is if some of the compromised Core devs didn't turn into LLMs? Particularly you and your behavior towards spam on Bitcoin.

@Matt Corallo why were you in favor of using filters back when SatoshiDice was a thing, yet now you suddenly can’t define spam or justify any attempt to filter it the way you advocated back then? Please don’t point me to Peter’s blog post — I already read it and it doesn’t answer the question.

I get angry when bitcoin influencers get used to push lazy state propaganda 🤷‍♂️ No patience for it, and I certainly shouldnt be censored for it (primal has been censoring posts/comments from me that are critical of regime change in venezuela)
