No. To the point I’d be tempted to distrust anyone that did haha
Took me a looooong time to tolerate the sound of my own voice on a recording. Didnt know I had a “good voice” until a number of people told me. It was only years later that I finally fulfilled my destiny and started another fucking Bitcoin podcast.
I like how it feels but not how it sounds. There’s actually scientific research on why people don’t like the sound of their own voice even if other people like it. We can’t really hear our authentic voice when we speak because our brain is processing it through all the interference from our chest, mouth, etc. So our brain tries to guess what it sounds like but it doesn’t do a good job of it. When you hear a recording, it sounds different. It’s one of those things where you just have to trust other opinions on how it sounds. Even phenomenal singers don’t like how their voices sound.

From inside my head: Yes From speakers: Who the F is that?!
@Neigsendoig Cocules and I are quite comfortable with our voices. We sound very similar... that I'll say. Someone mistook me for Neigsendoig on Corny Chat, but I think Sendo's voice was low due to exhaustion (which I couldn't blame you if you thought I was him).

Only when doing metal vocals with preparation.
My mom sings beautifully so I grew up thinking that it's natural to like your own voice. Funny, never thought of that until now so thanks for the smile! 🥰
