99% of my sales comes from nostr. Some of that is word of mouth of course, whether from bitcoin / nostr meetups and the like, but word travels fast. The website is all bitcoin only. I host my own btcpay server and sats come directly to me. No middle man. No Shopify / wix / Wordpress bs. No regrets. This is how I planned to do it from the start. I believe that in order to see a better world, I think one should act from first principles and support the very thing that is the least extractive. This is proof of work. Bitcoin is money, and I want to encourage it and be an example for others. Yes, this is limiting, I’m aware of that. But it’s my choice. Plus, it’s cooler to say that I’m Btc and nostr only tbh. I’m probably one of maybe 100 people in the world right now that can say that (someone correct me if I’m wrong). Btc volatility never comes to mind. My prices adjust in realtime, so the sats price is always updated with no manual updating on my part. If I need fiat to cover expenses (supplies, shipping, etc) I trade p2p with a friend or I use @Robosats. When an order comes though, it is processed by btcpay which runs on my @Start9 node. The sats then go into one of my lightning channels that I manage (6 or 7 now) and as those channels fill I simply swap out to onchain, do coinjoins and then to cold storage. Inventory is also managed by btcpay. I hope this helps!

Oh man you sure? I have so many questions! How much of your demand actually comes from Nostr vs. word of mouth vs. elsewhere? Seems like from your site you’re Nostr/Bitcoin only? Any regrets? Do you think this is limiting sales/growth at all and if so any plans to expand? How do you handle btc volatility? Your site/store really is great looking and easy to navigate. When you get an order paid in btc, what’s the process like on the backend and with fulfillment? 🙏 image

This is the best way to stack no-KYC and a natural DCA. Perfect example of someone just using Bitcoin as money. No need to over-complicate it. You’re a great example and I would expect many more to follow this blueprint (knowingly or otherwise) in the coming decade. Once the rational individual understands fiat and bitcoin the natural progression is exactly what you’re doing.
Thanks man, that means a lot to read. Huge smile on my face. I hope this inspires others to do the same. Keep it simple, keep it sovereign
Absolutely my friend! I try to keep it simple. I hope this inspires others and helps your journey! Happy to answer any questions as well for the #yata podcast

Big respect man you (and some other Nostr vendors) are leading the charge. Probably the most interesting development in Bitcoin recently because I know if there a couple dozen Nostr vendor doing this then that number is much higher globally. I don’t care about treasury companies or legislation. The small bitcoin only custom-good vendor is something interesting though. It’s something that could disrupt.
Man you’ve been a huge part of my success. I can’t thank you enough for your help early on setting up node / cloudflare stuff. Absolute legend you are!

Do you mind me asking how you manage privacy on your start9? Do you use start tunnel? Or do you just use a VPN you pay for that allows port forwarding? Or tor enabled on all bitcoin services? I'm just curious 🙂
Always glad to share what I have learned along the way from others who came before... I offered a few basic building blocks, you took it and ran with it!
