Yes! Alex has poured months of work into this. Its such a labor of love
It was fun 🥳
Pretty solid evidence against the idea that this was some 3 letter agency IMO
This is nice bro
Thanks. The lamps have lightbulbs that are $100 a pop. WIll get more for lightbulbs :P
Im better off selling the lightbulbs, they're $100 a pop
The genesis block embedded that newspaper headline about the banking crisis. Curious what forensic layers you uncovered beyond that timestamp.

This was a really fun and interesting watch. Now digging into the website, which will take some time. Another rabit hole.
Another day spend on something entirely different than I had planned.
Thanks !

Who was the 1st Bitcoin Miner?
Who was the 1st Bitcoin Miner?
Forensic analysis discovers: Bitcoin halted 8 times at launch, Satoshi Nakamoto solo mined, first miners: Hal Finney vs. Dustin Trammell.
what's special about the lightbulbs? Just good old incandescent bulbs that cannot be found anywhere these days? 😃
However, it was never "exclusive" everyone knowing/understanding how to do it was always allowed to join and mine, directly from launch of the network, no?
So I have a hard time calling that "premine"
Thanks bud
Thanks bro
Thanks buddy
1) they dont flicker

RIP BITCOIN!
Very pleased that I nerd snipped you!
Congratulations on the video. I enjoyed watching it. Looking forward to the film!
Nicely done 👏
I thought this was known though?
and no he didn't connect to himself lol "Satoshi Nakamoto" is at least two people.
One who wrote the code, one who wrote the paper.
nice, glad people are DYOR actually and piecing together the timelines/emails/correspondance.
It's actually not that hard to deduce who Satoshi is
Nice video. Will take a look at the website when I have more time. It's interesting that a quick IP search (I used iplocation.com) shows the first mining IP address locates (today anyway) as from Wilmington, USA - just around the corner from Fulgar Ventures who invest in Bitcoin companies. Anyway, just an interesting aside as I'm sure IP address allocations move with time, maybe they even purchased that IP address allocation exactly for this reason :-)

crazy editing. that would have taken fucking aaaaaages
Still cost him energy to mine though ... ?
Nice ragebait but until he moves the coins, or someone proves it was the CIA, the conception was organic
Thank you.
That IP changed regions.
I also looked at it but cant really draw any locality from it.
It is a california IP,still
in 2016 this article came out which at the time i think the IP was prolly alocated to same area.
Seems it was aresidential area.

Who is Satoshi Nakamoto ?
6. California
Chapter 6 – California In the Jan of 2009 when Hal and Satoshi were working on Bitcoin Alpha version, Hal encountered an error with the softw...
