Run your own relay, your own Blossom server (or NIP-96, or whatever). Run your client locally. Block all Cloudflare IP ranges across the board and be happy. Yes, you will break several clients. Yes, folks can still broadcast or mirror your stuff to one of the gazillion Cloudflare-enabled relays and media servers out there. But overall, there’s not much anyone can do to fully "opt out" of Cloudflare on the public internet.

Happy to give you a hand. Then you can help me with some soldering or whatever in the future. Good investment on my side, really... My skills are losing value to execs about as fast as yours are gaining value now that folks have realised nobody knows how to do anything in the real world anymore. Plus, if it helps you come back, you’re like 33% of the “people I genuinely like on Nostr :)”. So yeah, 110% worth 30 minutes of my time to help you set up Podman, edit a couple of files, set up a domain, and a free TLS certificate or Onion Service if you want to go full paranoid mode. Like I said, nowadays you can pretty much count on 60 80% of the traffic coming to your relay originating from Cloudflare, AWS, etc. But you, yourself, really don’t need to rely on big tech for anything.
