🚨 Sats for answers 🚨
Been toying with the idea of expanding to new products. Lip Balm, deodorant, balm, skin cream etc. All with completely natural ingredients. Mostly Tallow.
I'd appreciate your feedback. What are you interested in, besides soap? Only actual answers will be paid. Don't just give me a 👍

I'm genuinely curious. I want to know what the Nostriches want for their personal hygiene needs. Let me know, so I can continue to build.
Thank you 🙏🫂💜

oh and NO COCONUT OIL
It breaks me out D:
Won't let me ⚡ you
Won't use any other hard oils 🫡
Yeah that's what I thought.
Thinking that's going to be first new product. Honey Tallow lip balm.
Avec les beaux jours qui arrivent je dirai une crème solaire
Strange, but no worries. 🤙
Went thru that time. 🫡🫂
Pasta de dientes, desodorantes, hilo dental, y cepillos de dientes de bambú con cerdas naturales.
Tallow-based shaving cream for both men and women. Nostalgic, effective, and unique.
Solid perfumes or cologne balms: natural and great for gift sets.
Baby balm or diaper cream: minimal ingredients make this especially appealing for parents.
Natural bug repellent balm: tallow + citronella /lemongrass /eucalyptus.
No need to zapping, my friend! 🫂
Some sort of heavy duty hand moisturizer for dry cracked hands in the winter
Deodorant would be good too
Doing it anyway. My word is my word. 🫡🫂
That would be whipped Tallow cream. 🫡
Toothpaste without fluoride (not sure that's in your wheelhouse but gather it's easy).
All the ones you listed there are good imo. Skin cream for the body or face, am curious? Some people are very picky with ingredients/quality on that, so may not sell much face cream which would likely be costly to make too. Just guessing, you're the expert!
Those are solid ideas. 🧡
A slight difficulty, but I could manage. Been looking into it. 🫡🫂💪
Lip balm
Hand cream with comfrey and/or plantain, possibly with other skin-healing herbs
Both of these items free of citrus oils and hopefully lavender-optional
Solid perfume? 🤔 enfleurages for perfumery? It’s a bit niche but if you have a passion for fragrance it would be cool, there are a surprising number of people somewhat interested in perfuming here:
Me
@SoupBox
@Leathermint
Some relaxing cream, like mint, for massages
Baby balm!!!!!! Wonderful idea 💯
Perfume is a little outta my realm, but maybe at a way later date. 🫡
That would be whipped Tallow for that. Already been studying that. 🫡
Keep it up and keep growing and improving and making new products. Experiment friend. Can you make the cocoa butter?
Been considering adding some Shea butter for some new products 🫡
Toothpaste and lip balm would be neat.
Not sure about toothpaste ATM, but will look into it 🫡
If you want inspiration for a starting point:
This one works like magic, but I wish there was a lavender-free option.
I know the lavender is one of the active ingredients and is great at healing skin, but I’m slightly uncomfortable with using it on an infant frequently because it is phytoestrogenic to some degree.
Happy enough to use it and heal my child, just a lavender-free formula that still worked would be ideal, is all.

Earth Mama®
Organic Diaper Balm | EWG Verified + Petroleum-free
Cruelty-free diaper cream with soothing organic calendula, chickweed, plantain and St John's wort. NO petroleum, artificial fragrance or preservatives
I'll look into it 🫡🫂
Toothpaste probably isn't as big a thing for me.
Honestly I'm at the point of brushing my teeth with coconut oil, rinse, and then with some tooth powder and leave it on. I'm going to experiment with mixing the powder with tallow, baking soda, and scented oil to make a paste and see how that goes.
Let me know how that goes brother 🤙🫡
toothpaste & sunblock
I think deodorant makes sense.
Thoughts on beard cream?
Beard cream? 🤔 I'll look into it.
I think a natural deodorant would be a great addition, as many of us are looking for healthier, chemical-free options.
I would like to see skin cream
I like and use tallow face cream and lip balm a lot
I personally would like to see a seed oil and garbage free alternative for sunscreen
Salt scrub
Facial cream that doesn't burn in the eyes
Lip Balm would be nice
Leap scrub?
Salt??
I gotcha. 🫡
Thanks for the zaps and
Good luck 🤞
Lotion and lip balm would be awesome. I buy mine from Santa Cruz Paleo on Amazon but would be great to be able to spend some sats.
Already working on lip balm. 🫡
A exfoliant would be nice maybe you could use coffee grounds to get a good scrub.
Sunscreen is very iffy in my eyes. It's unnatural to block the sun imo. But I can do more research. 🫡
The coffee tallow I just did a test batch with had it, but scent didn't stick after a cpl weeks. So back to drawing board on that.
Although, I could put them in a Pine Tar, or Cedarwood. 🤔
I’ve noticed the same thing from other producers as well.
I quite enjoy a hair cream / wax kind of product. Good for the beard too.
I'll get it. 💪
There’s beard balm and beard oil too. Balm might be more tallow-involved
Good luck man 🤝 nobody who is on Nostr today should be allowed to fail in business.
Balm would always be more effective. It would grasp the hair, instead of making your face oily.
Natural deodorant without aluminum would be a great addition!
A pomade if you will…
Definitely the goal 💪🫂
Depends if the goal is style/shape or moisturize. Some may want both 🤷🏻
I'll take that into consideration 🫡
Deodorant for sure 👍🏽
Deodorant for the win
+1 toothpaste that doesn't cost a kidney
Deodorant! If you can make it half as good as your soap I'm all in
Been a lot of ppl asking for toothpaste. Another rabbit hole I have to go down. 🤷🫡🫂
You’re going to have to change to HygineMiner 😆

Antiperspirant. I don’t want to mask my sweat, I want to not sweat.
I make my own lip balm using beeswax from my bee hives.

Seems that baking soda assists with that. Arrowroot as well. Have to do asome more research, but looking into it. 🫡🫂
Beard balm or beard butter too!
Skin cream is very useful for men and women 👌
Nice brother 🤙
try with small amounts to see if it works 👌
@SoapMiner we make our balms green (we are @Green Bees after all) using matcha green tea powder so it keeps things all natural.
Well, it depends on the ingredients, you can create as a second product a lip balm and a skin cream, the girls love so much the lip balm 💕 and the skin cream is good too, I think you will attract more attention with this 😁 (I love so much the lip balms)
DM'd u
Ok 👌
Replied
Bueno puedes utilizar para hacerle desodorante limón y bicarbonato más natural que eso imposible. 😁⚡🍊💊
Yes
Beard balm.
Replied back 😂
That's really not fair @MAV21 🤷
All natural sunscreen
Please deodorant :)
Any product that is natural and protects and cares for the skin is good for your health, soaps, gel, shampoo and everything else you can think of.
I'm definitely interested in a natural deodorant option. I really don't like the chemical garbage that is widely available, and the natural stuff I've tried doesn't work very well.
I'd say clean and effective toothpaste and deodorant
Hand lotion 🦅
yeeees same, good one
I would love to buy a good natural deodorant. Same for sunscreen.
Only other product I would be interested in is shaving cream
La parte más olvidada siempre es el cabello para hombre, hay productos para ellos?
skin cream please 🙏🏻
Here's an idea, ship to Japan, please!
For me, an easy one -- deodorant.
Tallow fries. Thick cut. Bake them, chuck them in the freezer. I’ll buy a big box to make shipping more economical

Gotta be organic potatoes. But seriously. Do it
How about an organic engagement farming reppelent?
I have 2 names and one day I'll bring them to life in fragrances ✌️
I’ve bought several soap bars and love them. Just got the tea tree and lavender.
Things I would use:
- skin/lip balm
- hair/beard oil
- tallow sunscreen
- toothpaste
I personally am all about
* all natural deodorant - this one I don’t even look at the price as it’s my essential item!!!
*oil based cleanser - I currently pay $60 including postage for a product I love
*lip balm - I currently pay $10-15 for a product I love
Right???? 💯
Ohhhh yes - sunscreen for me too!!!
I like what I’m hearing.
I think you’re best off with skin cream. Target it as a whipped facial cream with honey. There’s massive demand for that right now. Natural deodorants are usually not as effective and lip balm too low margin for online business imo
As a woman I could make an endless list. But I also take care of my skin with a lot of moisturizing cream and serums to control facial sebum and imperfections
like to apply vaseline on my feet
Korean mask
Always after deodorant! Especially after a good ski!!
Nothing too strong smelling, just a light fragrance with oder reduction
If you made a deodorant and face lotion, I'd be a customer! Preferably unscented
Love what you're building — tallow-based care is both ancient and underrated. I’m all in for expanding the lineup. Personally, I’d be super interested in a deodorant and a multi-use balm (face, hands, tattoos). Bonus points if it’s travel-friendly and unscented or with essential oils only.
In the V4V spirit: it’s awesome to see someone actively asking the community instead of just launching blindly. That’s rare and appreciated. Keep building with intention — we see you.

I always have a need for deodorant 😅
I did the job, no sats for me 😭

A tallow-based toothpaste would be an interesting idea. Maybe a deodorant that is also made of tallow would certainly be intriguing too.
GM, y'all.
@SoapMiner is looking to make something new. I gave him a couple of ideas, one he already was considering, the other one he didn't consider yet I would imagine.

Would love to buy a natural deodorant that actually works!
I think I’ve tried over 10 so far and still use the mainstream stuff once and awhile in certain circumstances. Some “natural” ones sorta work but I had no idea it would be so difficult to find one I feel100% confident in
Deodorant would be cool, still using Old Spice 🫠
I’m thinking Deodorant, what about y’all? #asknostr

I know I would be interested in the deodorant. My wife and daughters would probably be all about the rest.
A lot of ppl have said deodorant. Now the question is, in a regular plastic oval tube, or a glass jar that you would have to swoop some out and slather on?
Have you considered invoking the oracle that is the mighty buzzbot 😂
I invoked Gemini AI which suggested the following, but didn't suggest shampoo, which I was wondering if it was a possibility:
I'm going to be a Sats whore and repost your note 😂
Beef Tallow: Exploring its Uses in Health Products
Beef tallow, a rendered form of beef fat, has a long history of use and is experiencing a resurgence in popularity for various health and wellness applications. It is being incorporated into products for both topical use and ingestion, with proponents highlighting its natural composition and nutrient profile.
For Skin Health:
Beef tallow is increasingly found in skincare products due to its rich fatty acid profile, which is said to closely resemble human sebum (the skin's natural oil). This similarity is believed to make it a readily absorbed and effective moisturizer. Products featuring beef tallow for skin health include:
Moisturizers and Balms: Tallow is used as a base for creams, balms, and salves aimed at hydrating and nourishing dry skin. It is often touted for its ability to soothe conditions like eczema and psoriasis due to its moisturizing and potential anti-inflammatory properties.
Soaps: Tallow is a traditional ingredient in soap making, creating a hard, long-lasting bar that can cleanse without stripping the skin of its natural oils.
Lip Balms: Its moisturizing qualities make it suitable for protecting and hydrating chapped lips.
The purported skin benefits of beef tallow are often attributed to its content of:
Fat-soluble vitamins: Vitamins A, D, E, and K are present in tallow and are essential for skin health, offering antioxidant and regenerative properties.
Fatty acids: Stearic acid and oleic acid, found in tallow, are known for their moisturizing and skin-barrier-supporting functions. Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) is also present and is suggested to have anti-inflammatory effects.
However, it's important to note that some dermatologists caution that beef tallow can be comedogenic, meaning it may clog pores and potentially worsen acne for individuals with oily or acne-prone skin. The quality of the tallow, particularly whether it's from grass-fed or grain-fed cattle, is also often cited as a factor in its nutritional content and potential benefits.
For Internal Health (Ingestion):
Beyond skincare, beef tallow is also promoted for its potential health benefits when consumed as part of a diet. It is used as:
Cooking Fat: With a high smoke point, beef tallow is stable for high-heat cooking methods like frying and roasting, producing fewer harmful compounds compared to some vegetable oils.
Dietary Supplement: Some individuals incorporate tallow into their diets to increase their intake of healthy fats and fat-soluble vitamins.
Potential ingested health benefits are linked to:
Nutrient Absorption: As a fat source, tallow can aid in the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins from other foods.
Energy Source: It provides a concentrated source of calories and can be satiating.
Fatty Acid Profile: Tallow contains monounsaturated fats (like oleic acid, also found in olive oil) and saturated fats like stearic acid, which some research suggests may have a neutral or even beneficial impact on cholesterol levels in moderation. It also contains CLA, which has been studied for potential anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting properties.
The debate around saturated fat intake remains, and health authorities generally advise consuming saturated fats in moderation. As with any dietary change, consulting with a healthcare professional or registered dietitian is advisable, especially for individuals with pre-existing health conditions like high cholesterol or heart disease.
In summary, beef tallow is being utilized in a range of health products, from skincare items like moisturizers and soaps to a cooking fat and dietary supplement. While proponents highlight its natural composition and nutrient content, considerations regarding skin type suitability and dietary fat intake are important.
Deodorant if it worked would be great. Seems to be the popular answer
Thanks brother 🙏
I use deodorant everyday. Summer is coming. Deodorant demand will increase.
Lip balm is a fall launch. Maybe Christmas special
Staying humble and stacking zaps ⚡️
Actually lip balm would be good in warm dry climates as well. But thank you for your feedback. Appreciate you.

I would mainly be interested in the deodorant myself, as I use it mostly everyday. My two cents.
🧼 ⛏️
Good point. I’m a southerner, thinking about myself
No worries. We all do that. I'm very bad at it most of the time. 😄
How about sunscreen?!

I appreciate your feedback, but I already am aware of that. My question is which products are you looking for? And will pay for with sats?
Not well. Tallow doesn't rinse well. I kinda just ended up with a mouth full of fat.
Luckily my next destination was the shower so I washed it up with hot water 😂
I'll stick to the oil / powder routine for the time being.
Glass without a doubt
