Permissioned *anything* feels so archaic nowadays. Cryptography is going mainstream. The genie is out of the bottle.
I'm sure there is some level of covert ops gauging the space. If there were attacks, i'd expect a similar route - be friends, gain power, sow distrust and fear. Curious how robust we are to that.
I guess this is how it works. I'm quite sure that once upon a time someone posted something similar on a dialed BBS in the 80s.
Would people like it? Are they prepared for this? If we would judge based on the bitcoin precedent, unfortunately, the result is not great …
