"Bitcoin developers want to freeze Satoshi's coins" is certainly a much catchier headline than "developers propose theoretical far future contingency plan for post quantum coin migration" 😏

Have you asked Craig if he's cool with it? 😂 Tell him he's free to move his coins to a new wallet.
Also focused on something much more important if said theoretical far future contingency plan does imply freezing those coins.
Post quantum coin migration. That is the catch phrase. Sell it!
Bullshit. Demonstrate the capability or anything close. We all know what this is about. Do don’t know shit about the threat or even what’s possible. Bad actor.
Word it how you want, it's an awful idea .
I expect many will come to realize it's the least worst option in the face of existential threat.
Jameson SLopp is a cypherskunk, a shitcoiner, spammer and a scammer. Investro in Citrea shitcoin along with Peter Thiel from Palantir.
So the bad actor shitcoiner Jameson SLopp and some other retards proposed, like real Communists, freezing every bitcoin that doesn't migrate to a quantum-safe address within five years of activation via BIP-361.
The good news is that even some of the hardcore Coretards are against this confiscation attempt.
I enjoyed reading the comments : ))

Freezing others people money makes you true Communist in addition to the shitcoiner and spammer and cypherskunk you are.
The threat is not existential. People who want to move their funds will move them. Those that are not moved will be bounty. If EVER they re-enter the market, the market will absorb them. It will another dip, andother buying opportunity.
And a much more honest one.
Of course Lopp wants to obfuscate what he's actually trying to do. Theft sounds so much better when it dressed up with techno jargon and buzzwords.

where is this proof of existential threat has sha256 been cracked? Has satoshis wallet been moved? No . Your logic is garbage .
You have no idea how many years it would take for this to actually be a threat and until I see that sha256 is vulnerable via the blockchain your implementation has no valor .
Your fear tatics only harm bitcoin .
I disagree. We can educate people to show there's an option to move potentially vulnerable coins to new addresses.
Lost coins get redistributed, as do Satoshi's. Even if they came to market they'd be bought up. Aside from a temporary fiat price dump, the network remains intact.
There's only one option that nukes its credibility and that's freezing funds.
What am I missing?
That catch phrase is such a loaded and presumptive phrase.
Your Keys. My coins. “Core Developers”
