Are there?
Probably because you have to register. Who want to be on some kinds of bitcoin list
I've heard a lot of both sides so I don't know who to believe at this point, a lot of people say they were as*holes and deserved what they got, others say they didn't and must be free, I don't know.
I guess I'll sign it anyway because I support freedom tech even if this case it was bad.
Done!
Rise up!! GET LOUD ⭕️

You don’t have to register Change[.]org respects that some people do not want to link their support of a particular cause to their legal identity. That's why it is acceptable to use a pseudonym & disposable email like temp-mail[.]org
Change.org
Do I Need To Use My Real Name?
No, Change.org does not require users to use their real names as they appear on official documents. We do not verify identities, so you can create ...
Ser, we are more like 28 here on Nostr.
They were not assholes they told the truth and truth hurt those who said there were assholes.
Being an asshole is not a reason to get locked up in a cage for 5 years.
Agreed, I don't know the full story, I'm signing it though.
They wrote code that helped people coordinate transactions to preserve 4th amendment and 5th amendment rights in the digital age. Fincin said they were not doing anything illegal because they did never took custody of anyone's Bitcoin.
They were prosecuted anyway.
Were they assholes? Yeah.
Did they say some dumb shit about enemies of the United States?
Aldo yes, but writing code should be protected under the first amendment of the United States Constitution. The problem is that the Bill of Rights has been eroded to the point where the Anti Fedralists have been proven right.
This is not TDS. This is the culmination of 80 years of assault on civil liberty in the United States.
100% agree, thanks for that, I gotta look further into this case, I want to know more.
Just signed
Basically how I feel about Ross Ulbricht. Like he 100% is not exactly a good guy but I don’t think he deserved the sentence he ended up getting. I’m glad he’s free though but the dude 100% was a drug kingpin
Thank you for posting. Just signed
Done 🐾
Fully support your effort but sorry to say change.org is likely rigged. DYOR

Good to know! Thanks
And those who say that shit are fucking bitch ass cowards who clearly love licking boots
Its that low because of all the state simp fucks who claim they deserve it or wanna talk tough and run their mouths about both pleading guilty.
Can’t imagine there’s 12000 active users on here.
X on the other hand…
Today it's them, tomorrow it could be us. I'm committing to donating at least half a month's paycheck to support Bill and Keonne's legal defense.
These developers didn't create tools to harm anyone - they built privacy technology to protect users. They paid the price so we could stay secure.
If we don't stand up for them, we're saying that developers who build privacy tools are fair game. That's a dangerous precedent for all of us.
This isn't just about Samourai - it's about the future of digital freedom. I'll keep fighting for it.
How were they assholes?
They were not the assholes weere those that asked them stupid retarded rhetorical questions and deserve the response they got period!
I don't think they were assholes. My point is: Asshole-ing is not a crime.
Bro we can do better than that. LFG.
Signed & supported. Lets go
Isn't american only?
I mostly hadn’t signed it because I don’t think things like this do anything but I eventually did sign it on principle. Trump knows about it. Hopefully it gets pardoned…but then they still have the conviction on the books and the precedent…
You really believe that?
Well yeah. I'd say this methodology filters out a lot of the bots, but certainly not all. If you account for remaining bots, and remove Japanese and other more isolated groups, this is a very small bubble.

I’m not removing the Japanese that’s Xen*****ic
The Japanese-speaking community on nostr is the best community here, they don't talk about the same boring stuff as the english-speaking community.
But I was responding to the note in English about the petition. They are not going to be reading that note (well I'm guessing most aren't). I think they stick to themselves pretty much. Power to them.
