The founders, the icons, the voices... they’re gone.
No content, no users.
No users, no network.
Nostr isn’t taking off because the people who should be there aren’t there anymore. We’re building cathedrals without bishops.
These are people who understand Bitcoin, cryptography, the risks, and so on.
So why aren’t they here anymore?
Because Nostr offers them nothing they don’t already have.
Because their audience is elsewhere.
Because the promise of “be your own platform” doesn’t hold a candle to “be read by 100 million people.”
Nostr is an interesting technical solution but is rarely used, and as long as that’s the case, people will speak where they’re heard.
That’s why, in my own small way, I began transforming Nostr in 2024 by integrating daily news into it.
That’s why, in my own small way, I started turning Nostr into a daily news feed in 2024.
Not just to make it look nice. To attract people. And above all, to keep them coming back.
Because a network without content is an empty space. And no one stays in an empty space.
I’m not really into news bulletins, but if you want people to come, you have to give them a reason to stay.
Content is the fuel. Nostr had the engine; it just needed gas. I came to provide it.
