Spraying them can be easily cleaned.
Setting fire to something thatโs made of composite plastic and metal is difficult. You would need a lot of fuel and if you need to escape from the cops in a hurry you donโt want to be lugging Jerry cans.
Cutting it down and smashing the camera ensures mass destruction and makes replacing it cost prohibitive.
