There are some serious rumors that the Supreme Court is discussing making it illegal to run a VPN in Brazil. Insane.

Mullvad VPN. They accept bitcoin, don’t ask for your email and generates random user numbers, like a numbered bank account. Then you top up via bitcoin or other cryptos. They charge around 12 USD month, but the longer term you stay, the cheaper you get. Then you can use Mullvad Browser or Librewolf browser.

We believe that Compliance Is Defiance and that users should comply in order to increase Bitcoin price.
Not simple, but , God forbid people using this… Let’s say you install Virtual Box on your local machine. And then, no, never ever you ever install Tails OS or even Whonix. Whonix creates a separated virtual network on your machine. And then you install Librewolf Browser or Mullvad Browser. Then you hire Mullvad VPN and use it to follow some guys on Twitter… This is disgusting! Off to prison!

I don't see how they could enforce it. I suppose they'd have to create a list of every website (worldwide) where a VPN could be accessed... and then try to block it. And even then, Starlink would still be accessible.

I think this is not possible! It's almost the same as the IRS trying to tax my cold wallet kkkk man, I think people like to pay a lot of attention to dictators and all this shit, unfortunately they forget to see the obvious.
#hispano

Nobody really cares if it is, Humans will always choose to do what they want to do if it’s within their own moral & ethical guidelines. Enjoy your VPNs, your Torrents & your IPTV services etc, whether they get banned or not, you & you alone choose what to do & what “rules” to abide by & this will never change.
They made it illegal to use WhatsApp through a VPN before. Who didn't comply would also be prosecuted. The same thing will happen to Twitter, so unless you have a great opsec and still want to risk it, it's a bad idea to use it. Brazil will need to migrate to nostr.
its quite simple even with no order. I live in another LATAM country. big one, I am pretty sure my ISP blocks the VPNs, may be not for political reasons but for own interest (sell the data), you call them and crickets.. I know it cause frequently when im browsing and it gets stuck, I turn off VPN and all works.. SO, stay vigilant and assume it all the time
They can only block payment methods (the ones they can monitor)... Not sure if they could block on the anatel level... Not even the chinese can do this stuff afaik. Lots to learn from their dissidents if that's the case
I know, just saying it’s simple to achieve and even say it was a mistake
