Nostr doesn’t work like that.

bro, im not lying, i can post, yes, because how it works, but i cannot load all the posts and media i should: because of how it works. i know you know this, lets keep the debate rational. a lot of nostr relays are hosted on cloudflare, which is not bad per se, but a fact.
Luckily their caching server must not be behind cloudflare, at least cloudflares websocket endpoints are still up it seems. Any disruption to their caching relay would bring their mobile apps down, unlike nostur/amethyst/damus, etc

ok it is recovering. also saw that it depends on the client implementation, not only relays use cloudflare, clients use it too, probably for cache

I’m seeing this through Primal rn while X is down

that’s technically impossible, you have to shut down the entire internet. and we could still work around it with something like bitchat
That's exactly what some developers who are looking to create a GitHub for Nostr were talking about. Many clients and servers use Cloudflare, so that could be a sticking point for silencing Nostr.
Bro I was obviously being a bit sarcastic 🤙 But in all seriousness, “i can post, yes, because how it works, but i cannot load all the posts and media i should: because of how it works.” >> this means nostr is up, not down. On X, which was down, not up, i could not post at all or load anything new. That’s the whole point of nostr: it cannot be unilaterally shut down by a single outage/attack/etc.

that’s exactly what i said. thanks for acknowledging the sarcasm 🤙 we all love nostr bro 💜, nobody is fuding or saying X is better. we use the protocol and build on top of it, some of you with content, some of us with code.
