Running the 220 outlet hopefully tonight up into the attic. Plan is to have this baby heating the house through the central ducting before tomorrow night. image

I need more info. where can we find such a heating device?
Any ASIC will do. This is just a modified Whatsminer M30s I’ll have a video about everything I am doing in the coming weeks.
Looks awesome! Are you running the electrical yourself as well?
I’ll have the miner on an electrical contacter so that if the power draw every stops from the fan, the power to the miner auto shuts off. It will have a backup cut off with a temperature sensor in the enclosure In using, and I’m also considering one of those small heat activated extinguishers mounted on the top of the box too. Haven’t figured out the details there yet however.
Yeah. Going to run a very temporary line right now, then doing a more permanent line run in the wall when we tear out the laundry room for the staircase to downstairs while it’s all exposed

excellent, thank you. do you plan on marketing them? "configurable ready" would be sweet. how to & parts list would be cool enough too.
Nah I think there are simpler and more complete solutions to this problem on the horizon. I will definitely break down all the parts and details with instructions, but not planning on selling or putting together official kits or anything.

when you're ready, get back on with Jack Spirko. us fans of his & yours would love it!!
Heat activated extinguisher? It isn't cheap & I've never seen it done before but I guess you could use a residential pre engineered system like a Guardian for fire protection needs. If you really just wanted an alarm you could use a conventional heat detector wired to a bell Hmmm thanks I've never thought about this & I did fire protection design/install for 6 years
Oh yeah @Guy Swann don't use dry chemical extinguishers or extinguishing agents. That powder will eat the electronics. CO2 or clean agent is your best bet to save equipment
Jus thought I'd mention it .. I almost burned my apt down back in the day with some unattended miners. It got too humid. Electronics don't like humidity turns out 😅
Ac infinity makes fans and other stuff mostly for hydroponics initially I believe. I have a tent of theirs and a few fans. There fans are great and much better than cheaper ones of similar size.
Sorry for the late reply to this, but just a small warning: If the fan stops due to ingress of foreign objects, a seized bearing, etc. or doesn't start due to a bad capacitor, it will still draw power (even more than when running). If it's thermally protected, it will stop drawing power after several minutes, and then do so intermittently, if it's impedance protected, it will keep drawing power indefinitely. Even in the first case, it's probably enough time for things to go wrong if the fire safety would hinge on that contactor, which it of course doesn't, given the temperature sensor, and probably internal protection in the miner, but still worth to keep in mind.
👍🏻 Yeah I’m planning on having 4 different failsafes for this (power draw on fan, temp in enclosure, temp do chips, failure of miner to respond - network connection cut). The power draw one is merely to account for a breaker flip, not any obstruction or fan failure.
