Twitter's interface isn't what's tiring people, it's the rage bait algorithms governed by the state and motivated by advertising revenue imho In fact the interface is probably the best part of twitter

The hard truth is that people are tired of social media in general. And if we keep onboarding them into Twitter-like interfaces we will keep losing them. Somebody will come up with something better than this and I hope they do it soon. We need some brand new ideas not just recycled UIs.

I'm not a Twitter user, but I've never heard anyone complain about Twitter's interface. Facebook, on the other hand, is a UX trash heap.
People are tired of traditional social media as it currently operates. When we talk about user retention, as an example, we think like them. You’re right, the interface is one of the best parts of Twitter. For me too, it was knowledge and news for a long time (some kind of pulse of the world).

I don’t mind if you don’t zap this, but please like this note if you would use Napster over nostr and tell your friends
Yes. One of the most toxic places I have been online. And I have been online since usenet and fidonet so that is saying something.

Can attest to this, Twitter enables my shadow to take the seat of consciousness. It’s calibrated to keep you engaged through sustainable rage (at least my algo)
