Awesome!
Thanks! It's been super exciting. Can't wait to finish it and actually get to use it when i get back to driving lol.
That’s really impressive. Sorry for the question, I only began following you very recently. Are you a developer too, or you are just vibe-coding the whole thing? It’s really impressive. Congratulations! 👍
I just know we are going to win.
YES🔥
The whole thing is vibe coded, but I've tried to triple check everything I implement and I run agents to document every change. I especially try and analyze exactly what the nostr events are broadcasting and making sure users have easy tools to clean up metadata in the app's account safety screen. I'm doing my best with the tools at hand 😁
They fucked up with the internet, because where we are going we don't need identity verification. Trust will be built from the bottom up. View quoted note →
That’s fantastic. If you have any advice about how to approach a project like this through vibe-coding, it would be great. I would like to get into vibe-coding, see if I like it and come up with any good ideas while I learn, but I don’t know even where to start or even which tools to use. 😅
I bought Claude code max subscription for 200 bucks. I usually theory craft my applications with Grok and Claude codes it one piece at a time. The key is knowing what tools to use under the hood so you can get the desired effect. Research your favorite open source apps to see what libraries and tools they use for things under the hood and include that in your application summary. I started drivestr and ridestr about 3 weeks ago and i literally code with it 24/7 from the time I wake up til bed. It's a lot of trial and error and paying attention to what the model is saying it's doing is key to seeing where it drifts off plans and course correct it.
Thank you! I’ll look into Claude, seems like way to go, although it’s a good idea to double-check the code with other agents too indeed. 👍🙏
It's probably not too difficult, but I can only juggle so many things at a time and main priority is getting "RoadFlare" implemented.

This is incredible man. I didn’t get the vision at first but this is going to win. I may have missed it but is there a mechanism that automatically calculates price based on mileage?
Yes I built valhalla routing engine directly into the application. Map data tiles are distributed through blossom on first onboarding of the app. I have only built the tiles for the USA/El Salvador/ costa Rica/ Haiti so far, everything runs locally.
This is so awesome

Maannn, I've been waiting for something like this!!! Hell yea!!
One thing you need to understand more than ANYTHING else if you want this idea to work:
YOU NEED ONE SUSTAINABLE NETWORK.
Do not try to get more driers or adoption everywhere at once. Do ONE city and try to get a threshold where there are enough available drivers and users to actually be sustainable by itself. Then branch out. This will take a very direct and concerted effort though.
I would read The Cold Start Problem by Andrew Chen if you want a view of the network effects this is up against. It would be amazing to see something like this succeed, but I think the hard part isn’t building the app, imo.

Are you planning to add this to stuff like Uber eats or Grocery delivery apps as well?
Love the Morpheus bit btw lol!

I wonder if we could do something like this for Airbnb
It's universally applicable. And after roadflare I will probably make an app called HYR Based on the idea of returning service in any industry
Awesome, I’m done with Airbnb fees and lurking on fb marketplace. I’ll be in Costa Rica soon for a couple months and would do the trench work of onboarding local landlords

It would be very hard to integrate into grocery store databases from the decentralized edge, but things like taskrabbit and airbnb would be easy targets 🎯
If you have a favorite Uber Eats delivery driver you might have a problem… 🤣😉
Super cool. Feedback:
- Don’t obsess over 1 random feature ( road flare, didn’t even understood it after watching it twice )
- Paying with Bitcoin is already awesome, highlight that!
- Just focus on the UX for the basic usage ( I want to go from A to B ) -> Drivers offer service for X amount of sats.
- If payments can be zapped and run over nostr even better
Love the idea …. And the power that you can build via Nostr ₿ .As a former Ub driver I’d love to see the gig economy/subcontractor slave ships be completely destroyed . But …to put it lightly, this will need a lot of viral push and then some to grab hold. Keep pushing! 💪🏽
Instacart does a good job of doing food deliveries and it integrates with uber eats. Might be possible IDK.
Thx for doing this man!
I mean...

Same goes with fav pornstar
This is so cool. I really want to try it out one day.

Fantastic work!
The idea of handing out QR-codes to users of the former platform is a great idea and could be used in many similar scenarios I think! (It already fits my baby-idea-baby).
I want to pay my Uber in Sats every time I get one. This is great.
Oh a Latina 👌🏻
This is great
Amazing. Do you want to come on Plebchain Radio to talk about this?
Would love to!
Meemaw says I can’t listen to the radio after bedtime
just sent you a DM on nostr
