My wife opened an X account on January 21st. There's a reason why she's not calling it Public Square and, instead, she chose the term Public Toilet.

For me it became a "i'm tired of this platform" moment. I'll likely still use X, but the overall community aspect and decentralization aspects of nostr are most appealing. That and plenty of shared interest in BTC and the like :P

By making Nostr less toxic. The quality of content on this platform is a major obstacle to any adoption effort.
Reach out to prominent people who are affected by this. If they knew nostr existed they might come here and bring their audience with them. Not sure how to go about that though.

This can also be addressed by a better onboarding process / better apps
