- it added a new _proxy extension that instructs the relay to do the fetch for you on a given set of relays, then returns it to the client and concurrently caches it. i'm just finishing up getting marmot MLS chat protocol working in a new DM feature just now because i need it and i object to rust devs building react spaghetti uis and having all the fun.

It takes one person with some followers to interact with you and then you become visible to that person’s followers. A repost or comment sometimes does it.

i think a high following count is directly correlated to a higher income though
im starting to get it… it’s definitely not the same as standard social media. How did you grow such a big following on Nostr? Was it mainly internal interactions or is some of it from external sources?

I think it's the fact that there's no algorithm. If I post there's no weight to my posts, I'm just thrown in with every other post and I get buried unless they look around the time I post or check my post history directly.
