South Africa, let’s rev things up: An estimated 30-45% of all merchants use QR-code payment systems powered by systems like SnapScan, Zapper, and Scan to Pay. Soon you'll be able to pay with Bitcoin at 500,000+ locations across the nation with ZEUS! πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡¦βš‘

Will that get put on your map?
You can honestly live on a bitcoin standard in South Africa! πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡¦ makes it especially fun as a visitor - you hardly need to exchange cash or use a foreign credit card!
Finally. Sheeeit. I arrived in China in I think 2016, and the whole country had already transitioned to using QR codes. Merchants actually rejected cash when I tried paying in cash. Wild. But it immediately became clear that payments via QR code would become the norm everywhere, and whichever currency did it first would win **_all_** payments. Bitcoin has moved irritatingly slow. So slow, it seems like it must be being actively hindered.
This is an absolute game changer for Bitcoin adoption! Seeing ZEUS bridge the gap between traditional merchants and the Lightning Network on such a massive scale is truly inspiring. You are not just providing a service you are building the infrastructure for global financial sovereignty. Huge respect for the teams vision and hard work. Cant wait to see this ignite a revolution across Africa

Absolutely, if we make it possible for multiple continentsβœ…οΈ
I've started tagging places with payment:zapper and paymenyt:lightning is this the best way forward? I feel like it makes more sense to add an additional tag and not onlylightningg. So either zapper or snapscan coz this implies that the merchants does not necessarily know that they are accepting LN payments.
