If that's what was agreed yes
Crazy stuff going in Argentina 🇦🇷 Can be a helpful case study for other countries.
Love that they are allowing anything to be currency. IMO bitcoin is best but lets watch the free market determine.
You are wright, but we are talking about Argentina here, a deeply socialist country. So, it's big news.

Only gold, silver and bitcoin are money. Everything else is credit, or currency.

Every time the freakshow, I mean presidential election, comes around, it gets more ridiculous. This time they're starting even earlier than I remember.

What’s this mean in plain speak? Does this change anything from how they operated before she said this?

That’s pretty cool! It’s like a barter system with whatever currency you have available to you and can agree with
Let's keep our fingers crossed this decree makes it through Congress!
It's true that BTC was already being used on a limited basis - bitcoin based debit cards, and you could purchase BTC through Western Union. But you don't really appreciate inflation until it punches you in the face as it does in Argentina. The pesos I have from September have lost about 50% of their value (in a little over 3 months), while BTC is up about 66% over the same period.

Better than dollarization plan. Rise of Argentina free market 🇦🇷
Poor lady. She will no doubt receive a shitload of altcoiners who’ll ask her to endorse their coin as well 💩
I think the victory of Milei is bad news for Argentinians. It is worrying for me to see the folks here in nostr cheering Milei up.
