I, too, created a vacuum for grifters
Mine looked a little different because I fucked off, started spending money incredibly recklessly, started dating washed up motocross celebrities, and generally became a functioning normie who secretly still operated a bitcoin standard while I stopped advocating for bitcoin and everyone around me just stayed confused on how I was doing everything I was doing
And I avoided and ignored all the grift going on in the background
Until finally someone told me I fell off and spoke some into me and taught me a hard lesson about it
A lot of OG bitcoiners have failed a lot of incoming bitcoiners
And, for that, I am sorry and I think we should do better

I left Nostr after a spat with Miljan. What I did not expected was the amount of people that protected him and attacked him while I was trying to warn them that too much was fishy.

The feed looks like him yes, mostly videos of him, the usual Odell quotes… it seem to link back to him. The weird part is that the account was created in 2024 and got its blue check in 2025. You might be right to question…

For weeks every time I would see people aggressively defending Primal, so much that I began to publicly question if this were a paid PR/harassment campaign on the part of Primal and began publicly researching their investors. After I posted these things, the horde of Primal shills went absolutely fucking crickets silent. I spooked the spooks:
When you were getting aggressively attacked by Primal shills, those were just glowies. And they fled at the mildest beginning of an inquiry.
At this point you have to start asking — who the hell are Primal’s investors? Who is really calling the shots? Who is on its board?
Max Webster of Hivemind Ventures, for example, comes basically out of nowhere. He had an international solar energy (potentially a literal glownigger) company funded by Max Levchin, which just inches very closely to the surveillance economy and Peter Thiel’s Palantir. Then he was at Version One, a VC firm which was run by an a16z board member.
I’m not trying to personalize this, but I’ve never seen anything so ridiculously shilled on Nostr as this “Primal is decentralized” narrative. It makes no sense that it is pushed so aggressively and defended so hard. Do so many random small accounts have that much brand loyalty to one of many Nostr clients? Why wouldn’t they want it to be more, not less decentralized? Why would they be demanding that Primal be able to censor people. It makes way more sense that this is a paid PR strategy.
