Why are all Nostr clients trying to copy X, and yet they have a thousand emojis to select reactions from when X only has 1? Who decided that more is always better than 1 and making the user choose is always better than simplifying things?

The best would be to not have "likes" at all. The second best is a standard "like" action. But I don't think that because of how X does it, I'm just calling out all the self-professed UX specialists who just copy whoever is at the top at any time and declare that to be the best, but somehow don't copy this specifically just because they are intoxicated by their love for emojis.
I'm starting to agree with you on the no reactions thing. Tho I do very much love #customoji inline in text :catDance:

Congratulations, i think you managed to work on something people care less about than OTS
I'm using primal and sometimes I struggle to recognize if I'm there or in x... Then I see the lighning bolt and say oh it's primal, but its definitely a weird thing. Maybe I'll switch to light theme on twitter to patch that.πŸ™πŸ§‘
I want as many emojis as possible, I don't want to only 1 heart, stop trying to be like X
