The good thing about AI saturating the internet, is that it will force people to never believe anything they see on the internet. Therefore any political content, sources of outrage, distractions, interference, etc cannot be believed. It will force us back into our immediate surroundings, as the only source of true reality, which is how people lived for thousands of years before the internet existed.

Agreed! We need to get back to reality more
Dystopian AF but i can see it happening

"Are you going to believe me or your own eyes?"
I could live with that.
Maybe. A lot of people enjoy being outraged.
It is most likely that tech will be use to verify sources and identify real humans posting, isn’t that the whole idea behid freakin’ WLD?
Real humans will repost fake stuff due to biases.
The computer has become a schedule II narcotic. It's time to find something else to do for the rest of my life.
See your point. In any case over time you will know that untrustworthy content came from that real human account, thus you can unfollow or not take it seriously. It will be harder for organizations i suppose
Most folks today believe they have lying eyes that aren't to be trusted. They're primed for more fantasy. I think it'll be a fluke if folks seek literacy in nature again en masse, but such flukes are far from unprecedented.

WoT is the way.
Yall seem to forget 5 weeks ago when an AI spam bot convinced like a dozen people to follow it because its avatar was a picture of a girl.
Like a dozen? Wow devastating
Only following devs fixes this... 😂

You couldn’t believe anything before AI either. You are the product that journalists sell. So what has really changed?
Agreed.
Which makes immense human crimes, like what Nazis did, possible again.
I have this theory too. the dawn of reason is coming.
Republicans will always believe their phone

Very interesting thought
That is an optimistic way to look at things, considering that a good portion of the population doesn't understand the simplest things.
AI overlords or not, the only reality I trust is the one where I'm left alone.
Even while living in a local setting, people uninterested in shouldering the responsibility of making decisions for themselves will still outsource; whether to the local oracle, witch doctor, or Uncle Eli.
Admire your faith in people
Amen 🙏 Back to the future.

Yes this is what I’ve been saying too
ppl still cling to their centralized media sources though, right? I.e. even in a saturated AI world, a brainwashed CNN stan will still trust CNN.
Let’s hope so. 🌹👓
People will be able to find something to support their beliefs and narratives. This is what they will say is true even if it is not. It is scary. People are tribal in nature. Remember what Bitcoin is about. Privacy, freedom, p2p payments, and known supply are all important. Be compassionate. Spread peace and love. Live a minimalist lifestyle. Buy Bitcoin and chill. Be safe. 🫂
I’m not sure because I think if it fits the narrative people have in their heads, they’ll definitely believe it. Only question when it goes against their POVs
In an AI saturated world, people will cling to centralized sources even more.
