i now spend 2-3 hours per day reading research papers and building something with goose that i didn't think it capable of doing. i never see a line of code, and never trapped in an IDE. it works nearly every time, but does requires some nudging every now and then. incredible. all open source, model independent, full autonomy. use it or fork it today:

Vibe coding appears to be the latest wave. Has there been a vibe coding competition? @npub1sg6p...f63m , i think there should be a vibe coding global competition for creating an app/client on Nostr using Goose and other added components. A panel of judges will select the best app/client for a top prize. 🏆 I wanna see what people around the world can create on a protocol like Nostr. If given the opportunity with an incentive, what can be created? There’s plenty of global talent around the world and they’re hungry. Literally and figuratively. Bragging rights is a bonus too. 🚀 Consider making an announcement.

I got curious and tried out the tool because you can use it with a custom provider. After a little bit of testing it seems to work well, but holy does using it burn through tokens fast. With just a few queries asking it about a repo to test it out, nothing even requiring it to write, compile, or test code I burned through 50 cents using Sonnet 4. I could easily burn through a minimum of $20 in a day. I'll probably have to stick with Aider for now. I still like reading the patches the LLM is applying and keeping myself more in the loop. Love this for you, Jack! 🤗 I bet you are mighty excited and in flow with this new way of creation and building. I can't wait to step into some kind of flow with it. I am soooooo close to getting goose to act agentic for me. And I can't wait for it to help organize my digital life and open up bandwith where I can just focus on building the unimaginable in flow 😌 So looking forward to co-creating and collaborating with you too in divine timing, if and when it aligns!

I tried Goose some time ago with local Qwen-3, but it was never able to call the right tool. I thought it was a limitation of Qwen's orchestration capability, given its size.

This is amazing .. thanks @npub16l0c...yj9s .. install is effortless .. it even tells you that Google has a free LLM - Gemini 2.5 Flash .. Cli rocks on Debian .. except that I had to export the GOOGLE_API_KEY ... keep in mind it is NOT GEMINI_API_KEY ( which most chatbots would tell you to export if you are on a headless server ssh-ing in ..

Good morning Jack. I would like to talk with you privately first either with Jack Mallers or without since i believe both of you work together and are on the same team. I will fly anywhere in the world to discuss what we are doing to see what you might like to do with NOSTR fundraising I think you will not only see that it fits your mission, it far exceeds anything you ever imagined as far as value which is why I only want to tell one of you or both of you privately at first. You can then decide a couple of strategies which we can discuss since it means far more than billions of dollars in revenue as well as for special needs kids and non profits around the world, but is a completely transformative monetary solution that answers the VALUE problem for users, merchants, and non profits simultaneously and thus triggers massive adoption.
