Nostr is bigger than people think. We estimate 20k+ active humans on Primal. What does that mean for Nostr? Maybe 50k, maybe more? People who count active users based on posting activity within a given web of trust are underestimating the number of real humans on Nostr by an order of magnitude. Let's not forget that there are many running private relays, private communities globally, there is a lot of relays in Japan that blocks IPs outside of Japan. There will never be a true metrics for usage of Nostr, which is exactly the way it should be and it means it's working.

Agents are taking it up pretty fast as well… not just reply bots.. but for real use cases. I think it will be agent preferred .

Maybe that is the bitcoin_maxi to crypto proportion. Nostr it’s a beautiful garden for self-sovereign minded people, but there are not so many of us out there. And that’s fine. What’s off is the hope of beijg next twitter.

This is coherent with my estimates, which suggest 17k daily active users as showed on npub.world. People that aren't active daily, or have no followers are not included, which is a harsh filter that probably hides a real 3-4x (just guessing)

3 years on Nostr, the last one nostr only, and I‘m still discovering new (active) folks to follow on a regular basis - and I‘m looking for creatives before techs. Place lives. 🤘🏻💀💜

probably somewhere about 20k to 50k, many of use have multiple accounts tho, I got like 10 accounts, mostly testing accounts that I use everyday

Wow .. It’s weird that I got my primal Wallet in this device balanced is zero .. transfer to spark wallet which I didn’t I initiate transfer . Than I see my balance on the other device is moral balanced . What a strange ..
