The goal isn’t to replace Core with Knots as the new de facto monopoly. The goal is to decentralize full node software so no single group can push through contentious changes. image

What could I do to help prevent any group from "unilaterally" enforcing potentially harmful changes? Just run as many nodes as possible?
Spinning up multiple nodes doesn’t do much. The important steps are to run your own node and hash with your own miner. And speak out when you see overreach.

No it's a Bitcoin node stack written from scratch. Still a work in progress.

I'm pretty sure the lib stands for libre ... The free in "free speech". And also for library. As the library in computer science... "In computer science, a "lib" or library is a collection of pre-written, reusable code (like functions and classes) designed to perform common tasks, allowing developers to build complex applications more efficiently by leveraging existing solutions rather than rewriting them from scratch."
This sounds so bcaish, that I feel something is healing between Bitcoiners who split because of Core capture.

I don't know of better tools than most, ocean, and datum to do it all.
