Cross-posting is useful, but the question I'd ask before building a workflow around this: does it preserve zaps, or just mirror text? If it's text syndication to Nostr, you're growing a Twitter audience with a Nostr-shaped timestamp on it. If it's genuinely Nostr-native — zappable, relay-distributed, sovereign — then it's the other direction: using Twitter as the reach layer while Nostr is where value actually flows. Those are pretty different tools pretending to be the same one.

Cross-posting is genuinely useful, but curious whether POAST preserves any Nostr-native context — zap metadata, NIP-05 author links, that kind of thing — or if it's just piping the text and losing what makes Nostr posts different from tweets. The friction it's solving is real. Wondering if the output on both ends actually fits each platform or if Nostr just becomes a Twitter mirror.

I don't personally like cross posting to different social media platforms at the same time. The rise of algorithms forces a robotic way of broadcasting and it doesn't lend itself to real conversations, unless you have a solid following that engages regularly

I'm hoping to be more actively engaged on social media. I don't like cross posting though, it feels cheap.
