Easy: Make sure you don't have anything in your name. I think Xavier Maverick had talked about things being in one's legal matrix nym eventually being stolen, for they were rented rather than having it in a business' name.
Otherwise... those people need to be killed for theft if they decide to do it.

Fuck man, governments breaking into people's homes to search for hardware wallets to steal their Bitcoin really puts things into perspective.
Of course, governments can steal your property or put you in jail when you own taxes.
At the same time, governments have the ability to print "money" out of thin air.
So it's not about the money you "own them", it's about the time, energy and compliance you own them.
And remember, they have the ability to change the rules of the game at any time, so be ready to comply with the new rules.

Let’s all make this a common and well known practice - We bitcoiners do not store our private keys at home. We have to go somewhere to get them. Greater inconvenience = greater personal security.
