Good to know. I prefer not to eat pork, if I can help it. In China, I saw open trucks with pig carcasses piled high, stopping at the restaurants at night. It was just such a gross sight, I can't stop the memory from coming up when I see pork. Yep. Cool story. I know.

There was a conspiracy theory that the McRib is actually human flesh, because it was reintroduced around the same time that all of those homeless people vanished from the West Coast never to be seen again. After Covid I can understand people believing these kind of Little Shop of Horrors scenarios.

I knew a guy that was in charge of new menu items for McDonald’s corporate. He explained how hard it was for them to add things to the menu. Whatever they would add took a tremendous increase in the supply chain or it would cause massive price spikes due to the volume they purchased
