I get AI to fix and configure my Linux box now. I used to spend hours working out how to do stuff, I just talk to TED my OpenClaw and he logs in and does it for me.
If you have an older machine, a secondary one, they make a great way to learn. Put Linux on it and then you can learn at your own pace, while still having your main machine to fall back on if necessary. Bonus is that most Linux distros will perform better than Windows on the same hardware, so your old machine gets a life extension.
Fewer and fewer. I want to start implementing @GHOST protocols and strive for a streamlined, sovereign, privacy-oriented, hardened system.
Np. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I've been using Linux for 20+ years and have helped a couple friends on here get started. These days it is fairly simple for the most part.
I switched about 15 years ago and what a beautiful 15 years its been. Felt really weird at first, and I wasn't immediately convinced. But after 6 months with windows and linux dual boot, I took windows off the desktop (basically once I got civ 4 running).
