100% agreement on Dawah Inc
On the rest, i'm mixed in my opinion on this. I don't see the communal gaps as between Nostr and other spaces. These problems existed before the internet did so the solution isn't going to be technological. I also do not see the metrics of a dying community. My nostr network is healthy and growing each month. That said, there are billions that will be left behind and I do agree some people should be doing something about it. There's a necessary balance between individual responsibility and people doing what they understand to be the best thing (a thing easily clouded by propaganda/misinformation/conditioning). Personally, I thought the folks using bots on their X accounts and then being themselves on nostr was a creative move but I'm also a maxi in that X can just burn for all I care. I haven't had an account there or anywhere else for 2 years so I know I'm not the one to that kind of engagement. My goal has been to encourage community growth here and sometimes even that is pushing my personal capacity 😂 but it's good and been the best thing for me.
Anyhow, for now I leave the nostr dawah to folks like Derek
