That’s a wrap. graduated yesterday. My favourite subject was Blockchain without a doubt. It was the only subject I received a formal commendation for by a professor. My professor was also very curious where I got my knowledge from ;) Blockchain changed how I think for everything. Plus I learnt to code because of it. Big shout out and thank you to @jb55 @jack @rabble @Derek Ross @QW @⚡️ᗪㄖ匚⚡️ @Cameri🐲 @Avi Burra @partof @Colin Sullivan @miljan @fiatjaf for teaching me the ropes in the early days and everyone using nostr - you get why this is so important. I’ll try to keep building upon a decentralised blockchain prototype I made for communities who face barriers when access to essential documents and support matters most, helping make essential services more accessible, secure, and reliable. One of my professors yesterday said it is important I see it through. Couldn’t have built anything or had any idea of UI aesthetics without nostr. I didn’t even know what the UI abbreviation was until my eyes were opened here. Thank you 🙏 image

The Fishcake how could I forget you. I hate me right now and you should too. You were absolutely instrumental in my understanding of supporting each other, in a slightly centralised way ;) to get salience. I think if images or videos weren’t available in early days, nostr would have lost traction. I am so that academy award winner right now who forgot to thank the most important person in the room.
Wow wow! You did not forget anyone or anything! No hating yourself please! I am happy you graduated and learned what you learned! That is all that matters! Congratulations and happy to see you achieving this milestone in your life! 🫂🚀🚀🚀🎉🥳👏
Congrats Sophia! 🎓 Learning on nostr and building for people who need access most is the best kind of proof of work. Keep shipping.
Congratulations, Sophie. The tension between centralization and decentralization spans everything from human politics to system architecture. A prime example is Werner Koch, creator and maintainer of GnuPG. You hit the nail on the head: Werner Koch and Yutaka Niibe have been pivotal figures in the protracted debate over modernizing the OpenPGP standard (RFC 4880).

Great stuff. Look forward to seeing what you do on the future.
Yep. Just watched. The remote use feature slide is so important. Ease of use was my focus. Tried to incorporate Yubikey 5C NFC over CoreNFC to access PIV applet but like developer forums couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t working cause it was in the code I wrote with OpenAI. I spent so much time on this but had to move on. So I changed direction with ease of use and security in my mind. Thanks for sharing 🙏
