Not directly related to MICA– I believe they are licensed in France. The post was just about the incentives and supporting those companies who push back on these types of initiatives as much as possible, rather than embrace them.

And we can't be a customer of Strike anymore because of it. I'm sure Bitrefill and Strike hate it just as much as we do, and I would love for them to talk about the fact that it makes them lose customers, rather than celebrating their license.
Some new European regulation that went into effect on July 1st that makes it impossible to receive bitcoin from customers unless we add all sorts of KYC info about our customers that we don't even have (and which is none of our business in the first place).

Bringin is also mica regulated, but at least they try their best to keep the requirements to a minimum. And they really hate this shit and communicate transparent, also with community calls.

Most of those businesses are. I like Strike and I'd love to remain a customer. We still need bridge companies like that and we're all on the same side. I just wish the communication around this would be more honest by some of them.
