My idea requires nostr.band API and it's not feasible (according to Claude) for a browser π
Essentially, I wanted to make a tool to look up an npub's zap ratio, since none of the zap tools and sites display. I think it'd be neat to see a zap ratio, that is, the ratio to sats received/sent and number of zaps
Great idea but why do I have to use my nsec? Would npub not be enough?
2 reasons:
1) even though zaps are all public data and information, i didn't want to give people easy tools to pop in any npub and look at someone's earnings. it's not privacy, but a slight deterent.
2) features are coming that will require an nsec to sign events for DMs, Zaps, and badges to contact and thank your supporters.

Cool. You should add search with NPUB as well.
i specifically don't want that feature to not give people tools to look into other's earnings. you can do this since it's all public data, but i don't want to enable it.

I wish there was an easier way tho, like zap to login, or DM to login, or paste a npub and get a DM with a login link..

I just want authentic content, not people engagement farming and posting just to get zaps. That's so fake and transactional. Life is not all about zaps.

zaps are a clear signal that a content has a value. So, why not give the value to the creator? people zap when the content is auathentic. #nostr is a world of infinite bubbles.

I wanted to do one year and all time but I'm not a real dev and couldn't get the queries correct. They would time out or not pull enough data. I need help there.
