I’m planning on using this as the legendary badge for the first 10,000 damus users. image If anyone wants to design some cool stylistic frames/borders for badges that would be slick. I was thinking of having an option to show them under your profile pic.

the badge thing gets very crazy fast...like on emboss it becomes cluttered and meaningless...plus looks ugly after a while imo.

ok. By the way.. your profile pic does not display in Astral... it does it correctly in nostr.rocks, damus, blockcore and others but not in Astral.... same with "Damus" profile pic

Probably a good idea for the protocol itself. You could get badges from anyone, companies would give them to identify employees, etc. maybe a new NIP?

It’s not only damus, I have no way of knowing which pubkey are damus pubkeys or not

yup they are like any other object in nostr, easily queryable. You will be able to query all the badges a user has, and all of the badges minted by a user.
