the real recession began in 2008 and it never ended. it was just covered up via QE and fiscal spending to goose GDP

Yes If it wasn't for the expansion of internet technology and the iPhone, it would be so obvious The digital revolution is carrying the fake economy because it gives the illusion of incredible progress while distracting everyone from the state of the real world
Yes, at the time I opened a bottle of good Aussie red, and toasted the end of this super cycle. I must say though, I'm really impressed at how good the bankers are at delaying the inevitable. I figured they could kick the can down the road for 3 or 4 years, but not 15.
More so, the GDP is calculated pathologically due to the intake of Fiscal Spending (Keynesian "Aggregate Demand"). So no real growth, but a party at the expense of debt (future taxes or inflationary crisis).
