Which relays should be the default for the Global feed on Amethyst? Right now we have: - wss://nostrelites.org - wss://nostr.wine They should only have quality content so that users don't see a dick pick as soon as they log into other app. :)

I've been on Nostr for a few months now and global is still too much for me. I can only take a few minutes max on it. I also can't use it in public as it's too explicit and unpredictable.
Because historically relays self-certifying to be good hasn't worked out. :( People love to break stuff, like by creating a new relay full of dick pick posts and publishing info that looks good.
thats not how nip66 works. you follow the right monitors that you, believe in... type thing. a monitor can publish info about as many relays as it wants, and thats convenient because you can decide if it is a good match for you.
So you wanna moderate content on a platform that you promote as descentralized and free?
Surprisingly enough, global has been tame for me. Mostly asian language posts, but nothing offensive. Well, visually anyway. I have no idea what they are writing.
Wouldn't a "Global" feed try to combine as many relays as possible, eliminating duplicates, of course, kinda like those blaster relays? I know there is truly no global, but could we try to approximate it? Or would this eat up to much bandwidth? (Incidentally, I rarely go on "Global" myself).
To be honest, it annoys me that nostr.wine appears in Global regardless of whether it's turned on in the settings or not. As soon as nostr.wine is in my relay list, it immediately appears in Global, and even if Global for nostr.wine is disabled in the settings, it will still be in Global.
