NOTHING IS FREE. IF YOU ARE NOT PAYING FOR THE PRODUCT, LOOK IN THE MIRROR. IT'S YOU, YOU ARE THE PRODUCT. WAKE UP TO THE BULLSHIT. NO KYC, NO GOOLAG. PRIVACY ISYOURS DON'T GIVE IT AWAY
Speaking with a normie friend who is almost ready to be unplugged this morning... Explained why I am mostly de- googled and that it makes my life less convenient.... πŸ˜‚ He got itπŸ™Œ If I can just get him to grok that his house is going up in value because the unit of currency he is measuring it in, is going down... Is there a calculator/ website link for that? That would be awesome to show to people.

THIS IS TRUE. ANOTHER REASON NOT TO BITE THE APPLE, TO DEGOOLAG AND FUCK GATES OFF. TO NAME A FEW
In retrospect, what a strange, sad route the internet went down. The lengths one has to go to not get constantly harvested. Anyway, a happy New Year to you!
What makes it worse is that 95% of the people have no idea of what goes on behind it. I always tell friends, if the amazon delivery guy started asking you questions like: what time were you using your computer last week, what model is your computer, did you search for anything else in Amazon or any other site, how long did you look for these products, did you speak about it with anyone, how old are you, etc etc etc how long would it take before you would tell him to f*** off? not long... online it happens 10x worse and people don't even think about it. How can we fix this?
I have friends who think they can outrun inflation by acquiring more dollars and taking on more counterparty risk by chasing yield and extracting value out of others with rent. The incumbent system pats people on the head for this, making them think they're smart. Pretty insidious. One of them even said to me that "the key to freedom is laying low beneath the system" 🀑🀑🀑🀑🀑 I may have to ditch them one day

β€œAin’t no such thang as a free lunch mothafucka” Buddha, minutes before he died, probably.
Education.. hard though with our schoolastic foundations mostly born from the 17th and 18th centuries of thought and human capability - we're being programmed to stop reading and writing and instead have subjugated ourselves to corpo morals and their teaching methods.

Trust me, it isn’t. Trust me.
I think that it's too abstract for those people and they are already too addicted and if there is just one thing maybe it will be easer but each their "daily app" is problematic : instant messaging, emails, searching, browser, social network, paying with phone, shop app (for example in europe there is Lidl app) and in cities you have transportation app, parking app ...

That’s the most concise explanation: addiction.

FOSS. GrapheneOS on mobiles, Linux on computers, private servers (@start9) to host all your data; all connected via Tor. People don't realize the cost of freely handing your data to third parties such as Google and Apple. When they do, the cost will be too great. Self-reliance is true freedom. The cost of privacy is convenience. Self hosting is not easy, but the cost of not doing it will be greater.

Hey, try this chart of Sydney house prices denominated in AUD and GOLD. Good luck! image
And if you told people this they will say that β€œthey have nothing to hide so it’s A OK”! As I heard yesterday from my family members…
GrapheneaOS is only for Pixels. DivestOS supports variety of mobiles including Pixel.
