I recently accumulated sats on my Umbrel Lightning Node (noncustodial wallet) and when I tried to move the sats to my Umbrel Onchain Wallet in preparation of opening a lightning channel, I couldn’t do it. I tried using Zeus and it sent preexisting onchain funds to myself. Then tried with directly on my Umbrel and got and error saying the onchain address wasn’t a good address. Maybe I did something wrong, but the only way I could move Onchain was to move through another lighting wallet. I used Strike to accomplish this. I had posted a Note about it this hoping someone would point out my error, but no one did. Have you done this? I thought it should be possible.
217 confirmations on-chain and no credit yet. I wrote to @Wallet of Satoshi yesterday, DM'd them on Nostr but no reply yet. Nostriches, so far i stay hopeful, why? Only because they have proven to be first movers on Nostr. I will give them 48 hours. After that, if nothing happens, there will be absolutely no hope for custodial wallets. ✋🏻 i know i know "you shouldn't have used a custodial wallet". In my opinion, it would be a step back to mass adoption. Most do not have the technical skills for self custody. [797860]
Well shit 💩 if that’s the case are we looking at boycotting WoS? MARCHOFFTWITTER was a few months ago August month will it be AbandoningWalletofSatoshi?
Faaaaa that’s a big number. What do you mean their cash flow can’t handle $2K? You are giving them the money, not withdrawing it. It’s seems like a technical issue rather than anything else.
I think the big problem is how quiet they’ve been. Even sinking companies will say some messed up shit to project all is in good order. Guess best move to do is to try to withdraw what ever yall can to another wallet. Drain them.

Took 24 hours to receive $80 on WOS SMH
You need to loop out of Lightning via Loop or Boltz or you can just close a channel with funds on your side. Either of these actions will put sats back on-chain. I do this often. I use Thunderhub to do it. I use Boltz via Thunderhub. I also have used peerswap, but this is more advanced and more technical. Let me know if you need help doing a swap.
Thanks Derek but as far as my tech skills go, these funds were just sitting on my Bitcoin wallet on my Umbrel, i just sent them to my WOS and went through, they are still pending while multiple confirmations occurred from WOS side. [797879]
They replied to my email, they asked to which address i sent the funds to. 12h later funds were credited but got no more replies after that, so not sure if they did it or if the system simply did. Either way, i'm out of WOS, that was not cool! [797966]
Sorry we missed your message @Merrcurr⚡️ . Sorry also for the delay and glad it got sorted out in the end. An explanation FWIW….With the huge amount of on-chain deposits we process every day, a tiny percentage (way less than 1%) can sometimes have an issue automatically crediting for various reasons. Our helpful customer service team fixes them up as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours. We have just made some technical tweaks to reduce the chance of this rare occurrence even further. ⚡️ 🙏🏻
Totally agree with @Derek Ross on this You can loop-out from the channel or you can rebalance. I use bolts for loop out and ride the lightning for rebalance. Thunderhub is a good option when it comes to managing lightning node and opening/closing channels.
