* KYC on-ramps * No protocol level privacy improvements in bitcoin-core * Wasabi collaborating with Chain Analysis * TornadoCash arrest * Roman Sterlingov arrest * ETF * Monero delistings * KYC all miners * Samourai arrest Are you sure we are winning?

Yeah, I’m sure we’re winning. There wouldn’t be a fight if we weren’t. Go take a look at the number of people who signed the Declaration of Independence that made it past the revolutionary war. I take no pleasure in that comparison but this is nothing so far.

Good question, but counter question: "Is the goal of Bitcoiners to 'win' or to create a parallel, resilient economy." For the later it seems the legislators are helping out by creating division.

Monero was built for this shit.
p2p is network level I'll give you taproot, although it was without CISA, and the privacy improvement is still marginal, it doesn't really make CA lose any sleep.
It feels like it’s time. For better or worse though we are all very distributed around the world. I’m open to suggestions.

The only play the fiat ghouls have is a kettling operation and narrative control and they better get after it. Clocks a tickin'!

Any thoughts on specific derivation paths being sanctioned?

I'm not sleepwalking on privacy and I'm not in denial. I run JAM and am ready to die on this hill. Don't make so many assumptions. Small losses are part of war, but it doesn't always mean defeat. My attitude is not part of the problem, it's a part of the solution.
Halfway there with UnstoppableSwap BasicSwapDex also exists (but not super beginner friendly, setup involved). Looking forward to Serai dropping sometime this year.
Question: Can ANYONE stop you from receiving and/or sending a transaction? Can you use VPN (which allows you to use ANY app to on-ramp to #Bitcoin)? If the answers to those questions are; No. Yes. - and they are - then they can continue to fight 'us' or they can join us. But they can't stop us - it's world wide too. Keep the list going - let them keep trying wasting fiat! It just makes Bitcoin adoption go FASTER! (I would add, be sure you run a node and have a small miner running sometimes - the miner is not necessary but in order to keep the network secure and diversified we all need to encourage these activities - it's OUR bank)
Fuck this mentality. It will bring only harm to yourself. Grow some balls. Live up to your ideals. And be the fucking change you want to see in the world.

* Monero under loads of txpool attacks * Rune tokens and ordinals also driving load to bitcoin blockspace * USA Election year * The current administration began publicly R&D for CBDCs over 2 years ago giving it more time to develop * Brazillian government silencing speech and becoming more dictatorial every day * Less and less right wing protests, less and less participants * Rumble blocked in Brazil * New term invented by the EU "unhosted wallets" to possibly be regulated * Life getting more and more unaffordable due to the effects of inflation * Physical cash getting less accepted everywhere I wonder, if another COVID or similar era of tyranny were to happen AGAIN, how different will things go? will it be harder or easier to fight back this time around?
* Telegram blocked in Span * WoS pulled out of US * LN in shambles, no bolt12 adoption, reliance on lnurl and LSPs * Swan closing accounts of users that mix I know there's no character limit on nostr, but at some point, my fingers get tired and I have to stop 😂
hate towards samurai devs but it affected everyone, still there is no legal rule but everyone compiled already! so much for censorship resistance and unconfiscatable nature.
Did you even check it out? The maximum swap amount is 0.02 BTC and it is unidirectional BTC to XMR. It is good that is exists but it is near useless. Kind of a proof of concept.

Honestly I had more conviction 1 year ago.
This is happening everywhere and you're not paying attention. Your all caps shows your unhinged worldview. Our goal here is to free the world, not run and hide in a hole.
Please explain it then. No one can stop me sending my self custody KYC coins anywhere I want. Regardless of what some NSA database has tagged it. Their violence will not save the fiat system.
Non-KYC is great, knock yourself out, but the point of the technology is that even knowing you have it, they can’t stop it. You don’t have to hide anymore. You are free.
At this point I fail to see what point you're even trying to make. You're just arguing with people for entertainment.
