GM Nostards ☕️ I’ve been thinking about the Artemis mission after hearing Elon make a few offhanded comments so I of course watched a few dozen videos of why various people think it was faked… TIL: Artemis, the Greek goddess of the moon was the daughter of Zeus and the twin sister of Apollo. Meaning “follower” in ancient Greek. So, did we fake another moon trip? 🧡👊🏻☕️

GM ☕️🧡 Love the rabbit hole 😄 Funny how the deeper you go, the more mythology, space missions, and internet theories all start blending together. But honestly… whether people believe it or not, the Artemis program is still pushing real tech, real engineering, and real humans back toward the Moon after decades. That alone is pretty wild.
I’m pretty much 99% those astronaut are actors. Maybe its the power of suggestion but the April 1st timing, and the simplicity of just “saying we did something” with a straight face knowing there’s no way for me to verify it and also understanding that the government doesn’t really care or respect the public in any meaningful way, makes me pretty certain its all bullshit.
And when people say there's too many people involved for it to be a lie, I wonder if they've heard of an NDA and how the govt can ruin your life for being a whistleblower. I've also wondered if every single person in the control room wasn't a CIA asset. It's not as hard to get people to go along as most would think.
I don’t see why a room full of scientists couldn’t be fooled same as everyone. Sounds trivial as well as necessary to extend the ruse to the support team. Just Patch up the leaks as they come up.
100% real and flawlessly executed mission to get all the unredacted Epstein files dropped on the moon. 🫡
So according to NASA it's a lie. They did not land on the moon, they just did an orbit. The mainstream media are lying saying that they landed on the moon but NASA are saying that the mainstream media are lying and that they did not land on the moon
it isn't a matter of "if every single person in the control room is a CIA asset it could be faked" a mission like this takes thousand of people, international cooperation and years of planning. AND there are thousand of people who know that and care deeply about it. So you have to compromise SO MANY and fake SO MUCH shit for SO LONG that you might as well do it for real. yeah, maybe you could pull it off (at massive expense) and the big payoff is "looking like you're doing something" no. it's fucking ridiculous and you vastly underestimate the difficulty of faking it.
Do you really believe the USG has spend over 50 BILLION dollars developing the SLS program across 13 years to send 4 astro- err actors in orbit to post some fake pictures and tell a pretty story? What is the incentive? It makes absolutely zero sense. 🤦‍♂️
somehow its always those without photographic experience who doubt photos 🙄 why are you so sure it exists? it might exist. but it requires a very skilled AND very lucky person who also has very expensive equipment. that's just the state of technology.
Lucky person? Didn't we know exactly when they were coming around the moon? Isn't it reasonable to expect that someone on planet earth who doesn't work for the US govt would have the ability and equipment to watch for it? Isn't also reasonable that the US govt itself would have video documentation from planet earth? So far I've seen nothing. Seems fishy to me.
"lucky" as in you have to have clear undisturbed air between you and the object at exactly the correct time there is enough light reflecting off it. also someone on dark HALF of the planet since they were only in close proximity of the moon for a few hours. afaict you couldve pulled this off if you had a nice 12" telescope and good camera in a place FAR away from any light pollution AND clear skies somewhere in Europe or Africa on the night of April 6th. but it's not going to be easy and its not suspicious that you can't easily find one.
anyway its going to be a flash of light caught by an amateur or it's going to be a institution that has a big fucking telescope and you're not going to believe either way so....
forgot that this took place when the sun was on the opposite side of the earth from the moon (ie, full moon) which means you're trying to photograph an extremely small dim object (spacecraft) next to an extremely large bright one (full moon) dunno what kind of equipment would be required for this but it's about the most difficult kind of shot to take and seems unlikely anyone with just regular optics could do it. so in my inexpert opinion, an independent ground based video does not "surely exist."
Fascinating to see someone spend energy defending a belief as though it was a religion. —Just wanting to be right. No more proof than I have. Just certainty that they were right.
the difference is I actually know people who are engineers who work in aeronautics. I'm 2 or 3 degrees separated from people actually involved inthe technical details. and if NASA was lying they would know. or at least have good reasons to be suspicious. but have fun.
which of us actually looked into the details of what ground based verification would involve? it definitely wasn't either of you. but sure, I'm the one "defending a belief as though it was a religion " ie with actual information about what verification would involve. and yall haven't given the SLIGHTEST bit of energy into actually examining the details. you're just sure its bullshit "cause reasons." iow you're butthurt somebody lied to you this one time and therefore everything is sus. put on your big boy pants and examine the incentives.
"I'm sure there must be a independent ground-based video..." tell me you know nothing about astrophotography without telling me
bro I laid out the factors involved in filming the moon and activities around it. you did fuck all. lose me with the "oh I'm actually really informed about this stuff"
just stopped by to share an uninformed opinion that you don't actually care about and refuse to learn anything huh ? 👍
