Jack, are you still on the Bluesky board? Why did you delete your account?

Why are you looking for small live crickets? The raw meat isn’t extreme enough? 😂
I had a gecko and used to order these. Filthy creatures. Remarkably like our “masters” in their willingness to eat their own.
Even in Mexico loves them to eat but since that agenda I don't think anymore lol

I didn’t either till I became a mailman. Deliver a lot of roaches as well, specifically from this site. image
My ex-gf used to buy them to feed her lizards and iguanas. Fucking annoying when they escape from the lizard tank and frighten the life out of you as they find their way into your bed jump on you.

haven’t you trolled enough this weekend with your death post, jack⁉️ yeah, we’re all gonna die and time is running out! …and now live crickets⁉️ you give us bugs for christmas?! how about a simple billion-sats-zap for christmas instead, jack⁉️ 🙄
Lol! Honestly it would freak me out everytime it happened, it's totally unexpected. Feeding lizards & iguanas crickets & baby mice is horrible, I much prefer having dogs and cats though I'll have to say having a lizard crawl over you & fall sleep on your chest is super cool.

in all seriousness… in classic jack fashion, his post of the gravestones was oh so touching and thought provoking, and i very much appreciate it.
I've actually ordered some in the past to entertain my pets (cats) during winter, keeping them in the acquarium is relatively simple but requires active daily maintenance for them to live a full cycle and reproduce. Also, depending on a place where you order, most of them come with some (genetic?) paralysis virus which makes it somewhat difficult to make them reproduce as most of the population dies off after reaching adulthood. Or maybe it's just not for me but I generally would not recommend that as resources on how to deal with that are relatively sparse at the time it seems. It's weird that they have been approved for being added to food in the EU though ( )
Beat inflation this Christmas by eating 3lbs of crickets for $25. Forget the $100 ribeye roast.

Crickets? I can find them everywhere in my banana tree. But then it's chicken food that I raise free range. 🧡 image

Freeze dried crickets are easier (& quieter 🤣). Plus you don’t have to witness death. I get them by the jar at Petsmart for Lizards.
I raised a box-load of crickets a while back to see if it was apocalyps- friendly food. Their little chirruping was strangely calming to me. I never tried to eat them. They gradually all escaped. I was advised by a biologist that wrote the book on it, cockroach farming is far easier to manage and it is basically the same thing nutritionally.but not to me. The fact is cockroaches don''t have pretty singing voices
