Every Nostr event leaves me fired up and even more bullish on all of you, on this community and everything we’re building together. We’re connected by more than random npubs and shared cryptography. We’re more than just GMs and PVs. We’re a social layer, a collective of people who see the world clearly and understand what the future can become if we keep pushing. So we build. We build software. We build services. We build content. We build relationships. I met so many amazing Nostriches and Bitcoiners last week. Some for the first time, and others I hadn’t seen in far too long. Thank you all for the memories and an incredible week. My family and I loved every moment we spent with you. @Jeroen ✅ Love you brother. I enjoyed our time together always my friend. @npub1a3um...mdj6 it was great to see you again and thank you for the artwork. Keep creating. @Sirius Thanks for the good conversations and dinners together. Always something I look forward to. @SelfBankt Thanks for the lunch conversations and beer. It was great! @Bitcoinbekka Finally! Have so many years. I am so happy to check this off my bucket list 😂 @mike It was wonderful to meet you. Thanks for the laughs and good times. @Constant My family really enjoyed our time together. Thanks man! I appreciate you. @npub1cn67...wt8a Thanks for everything. Truly. Without your kindness and hard work, none of last week would have been possible. I don't want to create a hellthread, so I'll stop the tagging here. Just know that if we spoke last week, I truly enjoyed it and I look forward to our next. 🫂🤙🏻💜 P.S. If you need help with or have questions regarding Shakespeare, please slide into my DMs.

Question for you: Does Shakespeare have any safeguards in place to prevent users or at least discourage bad actors using it to build harmful Nostr or Bitcoin apps?
I am always worried that someone will create a product that ends up going viral here that is malicious and collects peoples Nostr identity in plain text, this is why I've posted several notes warning people (especially new people) to always use a reputable signer and not to put their nsecs into websites.

When and where is the next Australian nostr convention? looks like a fun get together, people are really passionate about this protocol, love the energy.
Private key harvesting apps, which turn accounts into automated spam bots. Something like that could be a real risk if it became popular. Assuming the individual(s) behind the app(s) are thinking long term, a handful of their apps get semi popular and harvest a few thousand private keys each over a matter of months or years. Then one day, our entire feeds are full of advertising or gore or something and a large number of people have to restart building their accounts. That's the biggest risk i think.
i'm australian but i strongly denounce that country and have no plans to ever go back, even that i will pay for my mother, sister and nieces to visit me in more friendly lands. 36 years of my life they took from me, as well as stealing my potential to become a computuer scientist, they stole my property on repeated occasions. people think that "social credit scores" are a new thing. wrong. centenary heights state highschool in 1993 introduced one and an english teacher with a bad attitude who hated me for being so good at language used it to deprive me of the to that point expected freedom as a senior student to not sit in the exam hall all day long for a week when i only had like 8 hours of tests to do. and tests which i pretty much aced, if i simply paid attention in class. those teachers in australia were so full of pride they couldn't cope with a student who could run rings around them. especially the one that i totally embarrassed calling out her telling lies to my peers. so, yeah, i got a huge chip on my shoulder about that country, and for the most part, no sympathy for the struggles of these "austriches" why are you still there? it's a big world and you are in the worst part of it.

A few things immediately jump to mind: 1. Can we train Shakespeare on Plebeian Markets new code? (coming in 2 weeks™️) 2. Can we integrate Shakespeare into Plebeian so that people can vibe new features (creating an open repository for anyone else to use those new features) ? 3. I didn't talk to you enough at BitFest 🫡
Absolutely! These are great! It might be possible depending on the tech stack to have Plebian exist as a template so people could easily customize and deploy.
To my own exploration the answer to all them is yes and you all keep using react for MKstack and plebian so interoperability is very close ✌️
Was great to meet you and your lovely family Derek. Your Shakespeare presentations were super inspiring. My imagination has been triggered. Nostr will win.
