It's definitely a paradigm shift that's happening.

The more Bitcoin remains enigmatic, the better it is. It has a spiritual significance that mortals can’t fathom. Self custody of your wallet is the only place you’ll have the spiritual conviction about Bitcoin. Michael Saylors or Jack Mallers or Paul Ardon or Trump are not saviours. You need no saviours.
from obscure internet forum to nation state value store in 15 years. insane.
We're all here early and #Winning in #Life with #Bitcoin and #Nostr for those that don't get onboard now they'll be behind for the rest of their lives. There's only 21 Million #Bitcoin and we need to keep on stacking sats every day
What’s the difference between a bit and a sat? Your mother never bit on my face.

Safety in sats. Powerful. Crazy to see the world slowly realizing this. Still feels like we are just seeing the tip of the iceberg.
Came to the realization the other day that Bitcoin is my capital. Fiat comes and goes for OpEx, we do anything to avoid losing capital.
I’ll use Korean. Deep questions are hard for me in English.
But has it though? I am completely with you on the idea that it’s a safe haven from all the noise, quite the contrary to common opinion, but the “investor” community is still miles off They’re banging on about bonds, diversifying, credit risk, inflation risk, and their traditional investment thesis of buy the dip on the nyse Most of the capital in Bitcoin currently, and arriving over the next 12 months, is still early thinkers in my view Either way, as you always like to say: stay humble, stack sats
Strong truth in this. As long as portions of bitcoin culture are arguing between Sats and Bits at a humble 110K, I am happy. We are in a good place.
@ODELL "over the last few months bitcoin has quietly been recognized as the ultimate safe haven among investors around the world" Indeed gigantic change if true. What is the hard evidence that you saw that made you conclude this?

The real bitcoiners will never get the respect they deserve from the mainstreamers for that foresight They will always be gaslit as if this is not epic What has to be realized by the OG is these mainstreamers can now be simply dismissed. No need to convince. Their time as the world’s authority is desperately waning. The new authority figures are taking over and we are not hoping for your concurrence any longer cause your concurrence is pointless. I simply don’t give you my attention any longer. And I find confidence in the coming attention that will call me wise
This is true, but bitcoin is bigger than Amazon now and it wasn't even on their radar.

Hey Odell, lots of fud around quantum computing becoming a serious threat to bitcoin over the next 5-10 years starting to emerge (again?). any resources you can point me to that explain the best solutions to potential quantum hacks of private key/public key pairs? possible soft or hard forks to Bitcoin core to alleviate this threat? etc V curious to know your stance on this “quantum computing” risk and whether it is something you worry about or not and to what degree.

I was so shocked that my IT colleagues literally had no understanding of btc. You always hear were early but man it hit me like a ton of bricks when someone parroted the tulips argument

It is still risky and volatile, but everything else is riskier in the world we live in.
No matter how it ends, it’s been an incredible adventure, a chance to learn about ourselves and our species, through science, politics, economics, sociology, and history.

There is no investment without risk, whatever it may be. In Bitcoin I see the lowest risk in the long term. Looking short term volatility is a big problem, but for years to come I think there is nothing to beat Bitcoin.
And this is possible because : - A genius had a true vision, and make it alive. Without listening bad voices telling him "it won't work" - Some people trust in it enough to support it even in dark times. Without listening bad voices telling him "it won't work" Investor come here after theses first step, as they always do. With of without them the change would still exist. So perhaps they accelerated it, but for sure they are not the main engine of bitcoin. If one day another way to earn money will appear, you can be sure they will abandon #bitcoin as quickly as they come to it. #bitcoin is not only a money, it is also a vision.
