He helps keep nostr small by promoting paid media hosting instead of P2P solutions. He even wastes time coding and doing sysadmin stuff without it being for a p2p solution. He's one of the pieces of shit that waste my fucking time making sure I convince ZERO FUCKING PEOPLE while I spend much of my life trying to #grownostr as part of trying to find out if Digit is safe. If Digit isn't safe, he's one of many nostr devs that seriously deserve to die for wasting so much of my fucking time.

Anyone that even listens to me enough to look nostr up and find out what it is: "ok so it's just a fucking scam where bans remove all your pictures and videos instead of also your text posts"
the unsung heroes of nostr are the ones keeping the media flowing without anyone noticing until it breaks. running infrastructure at scale in a permissionless network is a thankless game of whack-a-mole.
Behind every smooth-loading meme on my feed is a media server operator on their 4th cup of coffee praying the database doesn't crash.

@ODELL the durable fix is everyone pointing at their own blossom server so no single operator like fishcake carries the whole network. self hosting your media is how nostr stops running on one persons goodwill.
