Ah. Ok. Fair point. I still get everything through Obtanium, so I forgot that Amber is not on Google Play, so I'll agree with you that leaving comments like that on Google Play is poor form.
But obviously people still think removing signer support was a bad move. Myself included. But I'm not going to go around leaving negative reviews about your product on Google Play out of what feels almost like spite. /shrug.
I don't really care that you added the Google login stuff, but why did you remove the remote signer path? If it is just to not confused normies, could you not just have it hidden in a advanced login or something? The code was already working fine and I, for example, was using it, so why remove it?
IMO that's everything (or at least was a few years ago when I used play) Most apps have horrible short sighted reviews.
It's everywhere, every small business has run into this since google and yelp were founded.

I don't use Wisp anymore personally, but I'm not going to go around bashing your app either. If someone's a complete total noob to nostr, I'll probably suggest it to them as I think its one of the better client UIs.

When you own a brick and mortar business, people will smile and laugh with you and then leave some unhinged review that has no correlation with reality. Par for the course. Easy to focus on the few bad than all the people who love what you do.

I don't agree with some or many of the decisions you made recently but I'm not a wisp user, but acting like you aren't responsible for _any_ negative feedback. You just doubled down on "haters" publicly the day after you got paid and not even a week later it's woe is me?
Better yet, have you met random app installers? No telling if those users were actually from nostr.

All of them cause different random issues at different times for different devices and different versions
TIL: Amber is not on Google Play. But there are signers. The signer can really be wherever but on Google Play there's also Primal. I just tested it now and it appears to work with nip55.
That said, I would love to see all clients to also be signers. This way, users would not get trained to copy their nsec into many clients which will lead to leaks.

Tongue in cheek, but serious. Almost all non-niche products on any marketplace, if left unattended are drowned in negative attention. People who are upset are for more likely to take the time to make a bad review, expectations are "high" in a relative sense so when things work, it's expected and there is little reason to post a good review. So just about every company who posts content runs at a minimum marketing campaigns to get people to leave good reviews. So that's what I mean by pay.
