Looks like @Phoenix Wallet is pulling out of the US. If you're sick of jumping through hoops due to the whims of the tyrants in your government, check this one out.
Here's how to avoid app stores entirely and use the @OpenSecret PWA in 5 minutes flat, including migrating your funds. LFG.

Thank you
For all those 'mericans that are in "panic mode" using Phoenix, here is what you should do:
1. Save you phoenix seed.
2. Uninstall from app store (because is linked to your account)
3. Install app from their github, without any fucking app store
4. Restore from seed.
Done, be happy and ignore all the shit.
If you still use an apple shit, drop it now and take an android, de-googled and do those steps.
If you still want to use your fancy apple crap... sorry but you have been warned.

Phoenix is a self-custodial Bitcoin wallet using Lightning to send/receive payments. - ACINQ/phoenix
Do you recommend using the PWA over the app for iOS/android?
People always pitch PWAs for iOS but Apple can kill them too
Tried using Mutiny couple of days ago and found it painful.
Wallet connections weren’t syncing across web app and iOS app well.
Lightning payments wouldn’t route but I could receive fine.
It’s a great idea but I know it’s still WIP. Look forward to coming back to it though.
Thanks @BTC Sessions for your timely updates and info in these times of trial
Appreciate your posts!
And what happens when @Voltage gets forced to close?
PLEASE DO NOT MISLEAD THE USERS!
IF THEY DO NOT RUN THEIR OWN MUTINY SERVER, IT WILL NOT BE MORE DIFFERENT THAN ANY WoS !

Stacker News
Mutiny users: do you run your own Mutiny server / node? \ stacker news ~bitcoin
Mutiny wallet is a LDK node for mobile. But require to run a LDK node and a backend server on another machine, using your own domain. https://githu...
mutiny need 100k sats , not for everyone
@DarthCoin ₿⚡️ do you have a guide or know of a guide on how to self host the mutiny stack. I haven’t tried yet, but it’s something I’d like to try.
Is it still the case that once you have deleted the cookies, you have to enter the seed to access your wallet again? @OpenSecret
They are going to offer a 1 time move to ETF
No you don't. They implemented fedimints in the backend for an easy onboarding experience starting with small amounts. Watch through and you'll see my first receive tx is for 100 sats.
So you think this will happen in Canada to?
I'll do a longer video on how to do this as well, self-hosting with Start9.
Cool ! This is the way !
I have had a great time using @OpenSecret , but my channel was force closed right before the halving. All my sats disappeared for a few days then showed up again on-chain. This is a big issue for me because for a few days I didn’t have any money, then unknowingly paid a huge fee when the sats moved on-chain.
I still carry an old iPhone as the weaning process continues, but am so glad I got a pixel and installed #GrapheneOS. No longer locked into any app store for FOSS, and can just use an apk.
im just hitting a "no sponsors" page
Yeah seems that the blog got busted (not mine).
Here is the official Mutiny docs

Or if you run a Start9 node, you just have to install the server app.
🧡
Same with me. Mutiny force closed running it on Start9 and it was...unpleasant. I went back to LND/RTL/Zeus for that side of things.
so if a federation is added, you will not have to use channels at all and will bypass those liquidity fees?
This is a great walkthrough! Thanks!
thanks much
Americans should vote for #Kennedy24 as he supports #btc
interesting, will see to use it ! thanks
Can you use your own node with Mutiny Wallet?
Hey Ben, what’s your current lightning setup? I ask because I know you cover lightning nodes, mutiny, WOW, Muun, Phoenix, Zeus, etc. but wondering what’s you personal daily driver, your favorite setup.
I’m guessing: Self-hosted Lightning node + Zeus? Maybe alby also connected to the same node?
You’re the best
