Did they say how/why he was banned. Shitty move when they have a block/mute feature.
I donβt think they even commented on it
π¦π¦π¦
Fuck primal. And Amethyst. Snakes in our midst
Cool that people finally care now even though almost nobody fought back alongside me when I was mass muted and censored
They haven't π

I'm pretty new here and I'm trying to understand. Primal was able to censor him but not stop him from using NOSTR? What is the alternative to Primal?
What do you use?
because you are palestinian farmer
You arenβt censored. Everyone muted you π
WTF?

average #primal intern

Nope
I am censored, was censored, and many retards muted me
ok
π€
Aw man. We gotta hate
@primal now?! Oh well.

That is correct. Nostr is the protocol which you canβt censor. Clients, such as Primal, are how you interact with the protocol and set up rules for their own relays. You can use your npub/nsec in any client. When you donβt like how a client does something you can move to another client and still have all of your nostr history, follows, mute list etc.
to piggy-back off of this, there are tons of Nostr clients: Amethyst (Android only), Damus (iOS only), Wisp (Android only but iOS coming), Nostur (I think iOS only), Yakihonne. There's more too, and that's not including the web clients like Jumble, Snort, and others. Primal is unique in that it has web, Android and iOS
- the great
@corndalorian (2022)
Where do u post then?? Jumble? That was my go to but they don't have an app
For now, Im enjoying Yakihonne mobile.
And on pc, i bounce between Yakihonne and Nosmero (xmr integration so the last thing you wanna use ππ
π«‘)
Whatβd you switch to?
I thought the whole point of Nostr is that it can't be censored.
I switch between nostr apps everyday and I noticed that primal was just different. I didn't like it even as a newbie to nostr, thankfully I just removed it all together. Turns out that was a great decision in hindsight.
In mean these mofos were asking for my credit card to fund my wallet on primal...ππ
what did they censor? If it was something really evil like cp I would be all for that myself
π€£
Where do you get this shit from π
private family archives from
@corndalorian
You can use other clients, depending on your device. On desktop I really like jumble.social
On iOS, I think nostur and Yakihonne are fantastic
On Android, it seems that wisp and amethyst are the best options
The issue is that primal tends to be where a lot of people are onboarded to nostr. And their caching server, whether intentional or not, can just completely make you nonexistent to users on primal. If that is possible, whatβs the point of nostr anymore? What are we accomplishing with all these relays if the setup is similar to Twitter?
This is the movie cover π
They have an app now
Right now Iβm using nostur and Yakihonne. I plan to switch to android soon and will try out some of those apps when the time comes.
Thatβs a good one I really like
Monero finally got integrated on nostr?π
Yakihonne and nostur on iOS.
Will definitely try wisp and amethyst when I switch to android
That is the point when you use relays correctly. Primal uses a caching server to interact with relays. That is the central point of failure.
official nostr movie

Yeah primal leaves a lot on the table. The credit card stuff is mostly to stay compliant and keep Apple happy so the app stays on the App Store.
Bullying lmao
@corndalorian movie is out guys
The Great Corndalorian (2026) #plebchain directed by my good friend
@EvilDood
Very interesting. So itβs not entirely malicious, which I didnβt completely feel convinced of. But the nature of the server is problematic because itβs not like relays are limiting you for posting too much. The client is limiting you which prevents your notes from being seen by primal users. So your relay setup kind of doesnβt matter on primal.
Should be working, now, yeah. Over payment targets.
There are some apps with Monero tip events, and I think I am revealing them. But I have to wait for someone to send me one, to find out if they work.
@node has to give us a review later π€
There are over 1 billion English speaking people and only 500 people and bots follow me on nostr. My life is not built on needing more than a few people to interact with and so far Primal has been a great way for me to interact with a few other interesting people(including you). There are millions of other conversations going on around us all the time that we donβt know of. If Primal happens to block you, use the npub you still control to build of community of people who donβt use Primal and carry on. Iβm thankful for all the people building the nostr ecosystem at virtually no cost to me.
No no no no cut cut cut. Come on corn really bring out that inner zap greed.

A good node review would really boost awareness for this movie. And if we get good zaps, we can make a sequel. The Corndalorian 2: get zaps or die tryingπ€£
Iβd rather not wait to get blocked before I use an alternative. Otherwise, I wouldβve stayed on twatter.
2028
LMAO nodereviews

May the zaps be with you
bro that was literally my barmitzv
That looked so lit π₯

The frogs are like Swiss army knifes idk bad joke

The node review stuff was hilarious bro π€£
I wonder if nostr is ready for #doodreviews π§
You already reviewed primoooool π€£

There isnβt a meme on nostr that grown on me more than this one π
#grownostr #growevildood π€π€£
My villain arc continues
I WANT PROBLEMZ ALWEZZZ
right - the primal server sits in between the user and the relays, for reading. so anything can be happening there and the user would never know
Wait they really do that???
Itβs a very weird thing for Bitcoiners to build
I could never get primal to work for me
Youβre not missing much tbh. It doesnβt even display notes based on your relays. Just from there caching server. Twitter 2.0 with npubs lol
so my initial primal wallet from 2024 was funded from my strike acocunt (which was their backend). even setting that up back then took like 4 months cause none of their devs cared to respond or support user questions about how to get lightning to work and my WoS only started working after i got that strike connection going (i do not endorse WoS btw and haven't used them in like 2 years). what primal was actually doing with the satoshis i sent from strike was selling them for usd because Apple wouldn't let them do actual zaps (also why Apple can GFO - sorry ios users but you're in a cyber penal colony). so end of the year strike sent the 1099 because primal lied about their client using the lighning network (the still don't despite most of them being BTC "influences"). primal never had a btc wallet and they weren't doing lightning transactions - they were selling your btc to fund something that still isn't a nostr client to this day. total psyop!
i first called this out in Feb 2025 btw. have never received more than a lol emoji in response from their dev team.
Did you try setting it to wumbo?
Idk, I just tried logging in and it sucked so I deleted it.
Do what? I cant see the note above
enable feds to tax your zaps
mistake wanted to paste it somewhere else sorry
credit card? i just linked my Rizful wallet to zap
You canβt do that on iOS
Iβm still on primal. My life sucks. Oh well
Why? Are you on iOS?
Yeah, I tried graphene literally for years and it just sucks. I have an android but canβt be bothered to use android for my daily driver
Nostur and Yakihonne are good on iOS. Thatβs why Iβm using right now.
YakiHonne is nice. Maybe I will drive it for a bit
lol really? weak!
Youβve never been bullied by the fuckstr you wouldnβt understand π
Ohh jeez!! That's crazy... Primal is complete shitshow then
π€£
Been many, most were abandoned though
Why?
That I cannot say. Devs without heart is my guess. All of that got abandoned had people inteteted, but devs just bounced out of nowhere for whatever reason
