I never use language that your rights are taken or given back. Your rights are either respected or violated.
According to the Declaration of Independence, the sole purpose of the government is to protect our rights. anyome saying that a right should not be protected in this ornthat situation should resign their position because they openly declare that they won't honor their oath of office.
That's all assuming the premise that the constitution matters and is a binding contract between the office holder and the state.

The 1st amendment does not grant freedom of speech. Governments have no authority over unalienable rights.
All the 1st Amendment does is tell the government that it shall not infringe on our unalienable right to freedom of speech.

(You never know how long those last and if/what will be expected in return)
Those you can enforce yourself.
Bitcoin in self-custody is the right to speak freely. Few understand(or even care about) this.
